We will be moderating harshly in this thread. Think twice before you post. Things we are watching for: image macros, balance whining, "eagles", player bashing etc. We encourage civil and reasoned critique of our moderation - please post it in the website feedback forum.
Please don't complain about MLG stream quality or MLG itself. They work very hard to provide you with an enjoyable service.
Enough with the racism discussions, this is a LR Thread. Cut it out. -- updated 7:55 KST |

Naniwa killde a ton of drones, overlords and even 3 queens with stargate build. Np though since losira just countered it by droning hard on 3 bases.

You need to harass, you cannot let Zerg macro like that. No it shows that Naniwa fell behind significantly in economy and paid the price... What do you suggest Naniwa doing? Taking a 3rd so he dies even earlier? Perhaps doing something during the time Losira is making 1231231 drones ?? You can safely get a third up around the same time as a zerg if he just sits there and masses drones like losira is doing. Yeah, if he mases drones, but what if he is massing an army ? How can you know what he is doing ?

You have solved protoss for now just try not get complacent or we will continue to see this 75/25 PvZ flip flop lol I dont think there is a single matchup that shifts so much back and forth so violently as this one :p Rofl, honestly how dumb are you guys. Stop complaining because the no.1/no.2 ZvPer in the world beat a top foreigner protoss... lol i agree that obviously just because losira totally outmacro'd nani doesnt really say much about balance, but you have to admit protoss are starting to have a harder and harder time against zerg, not even complaining about it though its just a shift in the metagame 2 months ago it was the same if not worse for zerg ^^

LosirA > Scrubs from Pool A (Gretorp, Slush, Fenix, Moon) "decent"? You're acting like it's a surprise, no one contested that Losira is better than those players.

LIKE I SAID in previous post
Naniwa pvz is laughable
Check naniwa vs tlo ( as zerg ) and see how bad he looses , then he goes onto WHINE ZERG ARE OP , asking what can he do cause hes pvz sucks
This wasnt a suprise at all for any1 who is watching the pro scene.
Naniwa has THE WORST PVZ

What? How does he have no good shot? At worst, he is finishing 3rd place. The only Terran that is really top class in this tournament is MMA. ThorZain might be, but he has to go through MC in an extended series where he is down 2-0 and even then, Losira has crushed some foreign terrans this weekend.
Foreigners need Idra to win. Cause if MMA/Losira both make it to the winner finals and MC/July still lurking, it could be over.

You can't in any matchup afford to allow zerg to take that many bases and drone that hard unopposed. Once Losira can get that econ it's all over. Nani didn't pressure, timing attack or harass and Losira read the situation perfectly. GG

Seems like the time were foreigners could compete with koreans are finally over, again. Foreigners can still compete with Koreans, but the very best Koreans (Second-best Korean Zerg) are still better than the very best foreigners.
It isn't to the point where top foreigners can't even compete with b-team and practice partner Korean's but it looks to be slowly getting there.
Foreigners need to recognize they are slowing falling behind, and the mindset of "I'll practice just enough to beat the players in my region" won't cut it when they participate in international tournaments.
