We will be moderating harshly in this thread. Think twice before you post. Things we are watching for: image macros, balance whining, "eagles", player bashing etc. We encourage civil and reasoned critique of our moderation - please post it in the website feedback forum. Please don't complain about MLG stream quality or MLG itself. They work very hard to provide you with an enjoyable service. Enough with the racism discussions, this is a LR Thread. Cut it out. -- updated 7:55 KST

He is playing straight up macro games he is showing why if you don't chese or do a timing atack (all in) you just lose vs zerg I kind of agree. It shows Protoss can't win in a straight up macro game. You need to harass, you cannot let Zerg macro like that. No it shows that Naniwa fell behind significantly in economy and paid the price... What do you suggest Naniwa doing? Taking a 3rd so he dies even earlier? Perhaps doing something during the time Losira is making 1231231 drones ?? You can safely get a third up around the same time as a zerg if he just sits there and masses drones like losira is doing.

His FFs were amazing, just got outmacroed by one of the best Zerg in the world. All the small things just added up 1) Losira scouting the 3rd and 4th gas timings -> eliminated air and DTs as a possibility. This allowed Losira to really go late lair just to mass up on the drones. 2) The ling runbys that slowed Naniwa down 3) Not allowing Naniwa to scout Losira at all (till the obs popped), while Losira got good scouting info on Naniwa.

Early pressure is hard because of the raw number of units zerg can get out at any time plus they have the fastest units in the game (speedlings) so the threat of counters are always there. I don't know how toss can beat zerg now. forcing zerg to make units hurts their economy, remember

Guess I have to cross him off the contenders list for top contenders. 1) Losira 2) MC 3) Idra 4) MMA 5) July The contenders. roaches got a nice range buff (: Dear god when that singer from the commercial comes on and doesnt shut up and its 5X as loud as the actual stream jesus. why does it have to be so loud...

And ran speedlings into naniwas base A move? He was microing all that time. He did dual attacks, kept on microing everything during that time. He just did a crazy strategy that involved 3 base drone pumping into just a bunch of roach lings. I mean, he had 4 hatcheries BEFORE he had his lair. How crazy is that! During the entire time he was attacking he kept macroing, and reinforcements just kept on swarming in. His entire strategy was beautiful. It really wasn't. I'm not gonna detract from Losira here because he DID completely outplay Naniwa, but his play was anything but beautiful. Idra against MC was beautiful. This was standard.
