Please don't complain about MLG stream quality or MLG itself. They work very hard to provide you with an enjoyable service.
Enough with the racism discussions, this is a LR Thread. Cut it out. -- updated 7:55 KST |

MC lost to Idra cause it did not do enough damage and I kinda feel it was the same in this case. What do you guys think that lost Naniwa the game? I mean, he played pretty well overall. That VR with those phoenix were the only reason that game reached early-late game. He lost because he didn't tech to storms.
no, in the end of the airplay, losira was a saturated base ahead... and just rolled over naniwa.

Stream has been perfect for me all weekend and now, championship sunday, it starts going down the drain :S Even the low quality stream is unwatchable as it buffers in every engagement.
Hoping they get it fixed before the grand finals at least!

But if it makes it to Webster, doesn't it make it a word?

Why do we have the same game on 2 streams while other epic matches are going on? I'm baffled. Wheat and Day on a break maybe?

I think the big mistake of naniwa was revealing the voidray. It could've done more damage if it had gone undetected, losira still had to build a evo chamber when he first saw it. OFC LosirA is the son of god and would've won anyway

Naniwa should have got HT's, would have turned the tide. no, losira would just press another button and build roaches instead, and roll the same way roaches also get trashed by storms. Upgrades burrow roaches really wont die to storms. Yeah, but thats why you have immortals. Naniwa wanted to transition into stalker/immortal/templar but he just lacked the tech stalker/immortal/templar is actually so good, I dunno why more protosses don't do that... colossus stalker balls are getting more and more figured out There are a lot of timings which leave you vulnerable, you can do it but you can't go straight there or you die - need dts or colo as a stepping stone. Colossus is good since it forces so many corruptors, but just gotta nail that tech switch or you look stupid

Is that a surprise? He's a very good player, and Sheth's ZvT is his worst match up too.

1. MC 2. Alicia 3. XiaoT, however I think Naniwa could easily be all the way up to top 2 when he plays his best of course. So no doubt is he one of the best, and the best protoss foreigner.

What has any Korean protoss other than MC ever done? Yeah, lets base one tournament where MC had twice as dificult a group... Alicia is better. Genius is probably mechanically stronger. You could even make cases for Hongun, Killer etc Stop overhyping Naniwa. He's the best foreigner protoss, but he's yet to seriously contend with top Koreans tastetosis are the main source of hype for naniwa lol nah
naniwa's probably top 3

Amazing decisionmaking. Mmmmm somewhat disagree. Naniwa did great up until not having the tech necessary to switch out of colossus. really needed twlight tech (templar/upgrades etc)
You disagreeing with me makes me a sad panda
Anyways, yes he got blink too late (didn't have it in first engagement vs ling/hydra which cost him a lot) and obviously he needed templars. Nevertheless at some point it was 140 vs 200...and even though zerg can/should be ahead supply-wise that's a real lot. Once zerg gets his 3 hatches early he can literally produce drones faster than you can kill them with your small airforce. Didn't really matter all that much that Nani microed great.

Losira had to fight for the game.
I'm not saying he's not, but I find it ridiculous people are complaining that the 2nd best ZvPer in the world is beating a very good, but not top 5 protoss in the world

It's biting him in the ass right now as you can't have a gateway only army at that stage of the game. The fight that lost him the game was the one in the middle where Losira traded zerglings and roaches for a bunch of colossi. You cannot lose your AoE damage and then expect to come back without getting more. Especially if you haven't done damage to the Zerg economy as Naniwa mostly did not.
Lol you can't do damage to zerg economy besides voidray/phoenix or DT, if you move out to attack a base its basically an all-in commitment of your army and if it dies you are screwed. And if you kill 10 drones like Naniwa did, still doesn't matter when the zerg has 80 drones because he has 4-5 bases of larva to make them again in a second.
