I think whenever you click on the stream link it restarts from the beginning. At least it has for me. So don't refresh once you start it. After they talk for 20 minutes, it goes to a commercial break and then the Idra vs. MC game starts.

You must be new. Other than marrow and July. There isn't many players with as much accomplishment as cruncher. Just because you don't like him doesn't mean he isn't a top competitor with backing results.

...uhhh what backing results? hes won some showmatches.. and beat idra a couple times (who he certainly wont be beating this tourney..)

overrated player if i ever saw one

HE made it into TSL for 1 thing and as you said he also won a few show matches. How many results do you need to be considered good? Im not saying he is the best player in the world but being one of the best in the open bracket of MLG is definitely true.

he also didnt win TSL3 ... gold medals mean something. im not saying hes bad and i suppose there is a chance he can get out of open brackets.. but seriously theres a snowballs chance in hell of him getting very far in the championship brackets.

Ahh neither did Idra who got knocked out in the first round by Cruncher.
Weak argument.

my arguement is idra is rickrolling kids who are much better than cruncher already.. so actually no its not that weak, and my other point is cruncher hasnt won jack shit yet..

You said he's not good because he didn't win TSL3 which is a rediculous comment. Try to get one person to agree with you there. A lot of good players didnt even qualify.

*sigh* im saying he has no results really to speak of for people to have confidence in him, stop twisting my words

does that mean the open loser's bracket is just for seeding in the next MLG?

No, the 4 winners of the winners bracket go into Pool play, Pool play determines how many rounds ahead you get in the Championship bracket then the people who come out of losers go into the championship bracket losers and go through all the people seeded by pool play.

You don't have a good sense for these things...Cruncher won't win. If any other P besides MC make it to the finals, it'd be KiwiKaki.

I think you misread my post, I was asking about the loser's bracket for the open part of MLG. The one with 256 people battling for a spot in pool play. I understand the top 4 people in the open bracket get into championship bracket.
Does that mean once you lose a set in the open bracket, you have no chance of getting into the championship bracket?

No, if you come from the losers open bracket you go into the Championship Bracket.

Winners of the open go into the Championship Pool as if they were seeded as a top 16 person.

The biggest early matches tomorrow appear to be: FXOSheth vs SlayerS`MMA & EGIncontrol vs Liquid`TLO. Though the Sheth/MMA match has massive implications. If Sheth wins that, he's pretty much assured to win his Pool, and, well, he'd have beaten SlayerS's ace heading into the GSTL in just a few weeks. (Lot of implications there, really)

It looks like Losira will likely win Pool D, but I have a feeling that July is going to be slotted in there, which is going to limit the amount of Koreans in the Winner's Semifinal bracket.

Right now, it looks like Losira is pretty much assured in the Winner's Semifinals, MMA has a very good prospect (beat Sheth and pretty much in), Moon has a good chance (needs Naniwa to lose another match for him to control his destiny), and MC needs Idra to drop his next two series.

Then we have the people coming out of the Pool play. While I don't know the form of the people left this weekend, at least 2-3 that's likely to come out of those into the Pool play have a chance to all-kill their Pool and take the spot. There's a whole lot of scary left coming from the Winner's Bracket.

Yeah, this isn't really being Korean dominated, but that was always the case. They sent some really good Koreans over (MC is Top 5; MMA is top 5 for Team League play and Losira has been rampaging of late; if Bomber had made it, he's #1 ranked Korean at the moment; Moon is okay, it seems like he plays a whole lot better @ LANs than with prep time).

This MLG is shaping up to be one of the best but I am once again saddened that some top players in the scene can never seem to make it: Sen, Dimaga, White-Ra, Kas, Strelok, Happy, Nerchio, etc. At least we got Thorzain and Naniwa this time around. It'd feel weird not to have some top EU representation with the number of Korean players that have been brought in by the MLG/GSL agreement, given that EU has the strongest foreigner's scene right now.

No. It means you can't get into Pool play. Pool play seeds into the Championship Bracket. (And you can drop a match without being out of the Tournament) You could lose in the first round of the Open Bracket and then win 19 Bo3s in a row to win the Tournament.
