Whoa, Fenix has beaten 4 zergs in the open bracket and is now facing Vibe, who he'll most likely beat. Hopefully MorroW can end his winning streak vs zergs tomorrow.

You must be new. Other than marrow and July. There isn't many players with as much accomplishment as cruncher. Just because you don't like him doesn't mean he isn't a top competitor with backing results.

...uhhh what backing results? hes won some showmatches.. and beat idra a couple times (who he certainly wont be beating this tourney..)

overrated player if i ever saw one

HE made it into TSL for 1 thing and as you said he also won a few show matches. How many results do you need to be considered good? Im not saying he is the best player in the world but being one of the best in the open bracket of MLG is definitely true.

he also didnt win TSL3 ... gold medals mean something. im not saying hes bad and i suppose there is a chance he can get out of open brackets.. but seriously theres a snowballs chance in hell of him getting very far in the championship brackets.

Ahh neither did Idra who got knocked out in the first round by Cruncher.
Weak argument.

Vibe is pretty solid, it could be a close match.

Works for me. At least I am watching Red Stream right now. Love that they are doing Re-Broadcasts. However its LQ and you can't jump around.

Beating MC = beating Korea? Unless you're including Select but Idra has beaten Select plenty of times in the past. Besides Idra has been playing fantastically lately whereas MC has not so it can't be that much of a shocker.

I apologize for exaggerating a bit here. Just a fast post as a reaction to my surprise. The fact still remains that he's beaten everyone who came in his path, including MC who statistically is the (arguably) best Korean. That doesn't mean he beat entire Korea, but it does means he's beaten the Koreans he's come across so far. So yeah, it might not be a shocker to you but to me it was. I didn't expect MC to drop any matches to be honest.

Im not sure if MC is anywhere near being the best Korean at this point ... heck idk if hes the best at MLG right now. Big win for Idra but there is a lot of tourney left.

Nonsense, MC is top 5 Korean easily, and possibly the best.

At the moment I think Nestea deserves to be ranked no.1 but I have MC no.2

It's hard to rank players since game is still pretty new..so all you can do is go off tourneys, and MC would be at the top.

No, has to play Catz and either Pokebunny or Agh in the next round, after that he's into pool.

Cruncher doesn't have a free ride in the OB. Axslav and Major will both give him trouble. If he gets through those two he deserves to be in pool play and can probably pull some upsets.

Thorzain has a relatively easier path into pool play though Kawaii or Richman can pull upsets, I guess. But Thorzain's TvT is really good, so he should be fine.

July has a bunch of known players ahead of him - Catz, Pokebunny, and Agh are all players who I'd say are good, but not top. July is the favorite against all of them and should be able to get into pool play barring Catz doing something weird or Pokebunny doing some great bunker cheese.

Between Morrow, Fenix, Slog, and Vibe, Morrow is probably the favorite but it's not going to be ezmode for him. Fenix has a dangerous TvZ, in particular, and Vibe has potential though his ZvZ needed work last time I saw him play it.

Tomorrow's games should be good though perhaps not as epic as today's.

does that mean the open loser's bracket is just for seeding in the next MLG?

I'd bet on July making it to the group stages at this point. I don't see any of those players beating him.

You said he's not good because he didn't win TSL3 which is a rediculous comment. Try to get one person to agree with you there. A lot of good players didnt even qualify.
