HE made it into TSL for 1 thing and as you said he also won a few show matches. How many results do you need to be considered good? Im not saying he is the best player in the world but being one of the best in the open bracket of MLG is definitely true.

i don't think morrow will surely make it with fenix there. He is just a brutal terran and his TvZ is strong as hell

Beating MC = beating Korea? Unless you're including Select but Idra has beaten Select plenty of times in the past. Besides Idra has been playing fantastically lately whereas MC has not so it can't be that much of a shocker.

If fenix plays his regular style (aggressive as hell) then ya he'll probably win it

Looks like all matches are done for today.
They played through Winner's Bracket Round 4 (so 16 players left for the 4 Pool play spots)
Pool play seems to have moved 1/2 a round to tomorrow, so some Pool players have 2 matches before the Winner's Bracket spots are taken.
Loser's Bracket round 1 starts early tomorrow and then they play for a long while.

He might not make pool play, but losing to fenix would put him in striking distance of the championship bracket and I believe morrow can do alright from there, but there's a lot of great players so we'll see.

There's a difference between 'good' and 'one of the best players.' And as for how many results you need: more than the other guys.

I apologize for exaggerating a bit here. Just a fast post as a reaction to my surprise. The fact still remains that he's beaten everyone who came in his path, including MC who statistically is the (arguably) best Korean. That doesn't mean he beat entire Korea, but it does means he's beaten the Koreans he's come across so far. So yeah, it might not be a shocker to you but to me it was. I didn't expect MC to drop any matches to be honest.

Wow the open bracket is shaping up well. Most of the brackets went as I expected.
I didn't get to watch too much today, but what an amazing event! Having two streams is also amazing.

Im not sure if MC is anywhere near being the best Korean at this point ... heck idk if hes the best at MLG right now. Big win for Idra but there is a lot of tourney left.

I said he was good overall compared to most players. He is considered one of the better toss in NA. But this is just MLG and in the open racket of like 200-300 player. I said he is probably one of the best in "the open bracket".
