Then his probe idles for no particular reason (LAG), for about 7-8 seconds before incontrol is able to put down the nexus. To me it looked like he shift queued the production of the forge during the lag to ENSURE his forge timing wouldn't be totally screwed up. You could see the frustration on incontrol's face during that lag spike. Nexus first build orders may hinge on SECONDS, and if losira was to send his lings straight towards incontrol's base, incontrol might have been in trouble. What happened? The game was paused. Losira accidentally rallied his first 4 zerglings to a mineral patch in his main. It took him 3 seconds to notice. Immediately afterwards Losira forgot an overlord at 26/26. Was unable to make an extra queen for 30 seconds. Had larva idle for ~10 seconds. What happens next? This mistake compounds into losira feeling pressured to use all his larva to drone up as opposed to making 6-10 lings to bring down the rocks to his third. Consequently Losira has to drop a "macro" hatchery while being at around the ~40 supply mark. A hatchery that I can almost guarantee would have gone up at his 3rd was it not for the compounding of several screw ups caused by the lag. What I'm trying to get at is: Incontrol could've just as easily have been screwed over by the lag. There is nothing dignified or professional about forcing players to play out a game in those kind of conditions. I agree completely. Losira also took several attempts to get his expansion down and was making macro mistakes that a low-level masters player wouldn't make. There was also the first game being replayed in which Losira responded better to the build inControl has obviously planned for that particular game. Losira looks like he is tilting worse, but they are both dealing with the same conditions. I hope they switch to the backup system soon, this is getting out of hand I imagine that it is much worse than it looks. | ||
