Meaning that even though MMA has not dropped out of the winners bracket, he will face MVP, who will now have his second chance of beating MMA? That's completely unfair if this is true. Uh, the brackets do show a grand finals: http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/GeForce_Pro/Am/Pro_PlayoffsUnless you believe in the principle behind the extended series theory, this tournament is the same as any other dual bracket system. MVP lost, dropped down to the lower bracket, and had to play 3 extra series compared to MMA. He earned his way back. However, most other dual bracket systems also add an addition handicap to the guy coming from the lower bracket, such as having to start from 0-1 down in a Bo7 (Homestory cup).
Oh, the naming of the stages just confused me a bit. So the way they are naming it is that Grand Finals includes the match MMA vs MVP as well as a second MMA vs MVP if MMA loses (since he would drop down to the "losers" and with his 2nd chance, play against MVP.
Thanks

Is this bo5? MMA needs towin one best of 5, Mvp needs to win 2. Do you mean Mvp needs to win 2 best of 5's whereas MMA only needs 1 since MMA's winner's finalist and Mvp's loser's finalist? Yep.

It's like we're watching two MKP's!

Wow, MMA is crushing MVP. Didn't expect that.

Exactly.

Jeezus. MMA is seriously making MVP look like a class below him.

Man really got to admire MMA. Not only does he fight back from being behind in so many games, but he also just keeps improving and is proving that he can compete with the very best in the world (Nestea, MVP etc.)

This is odd. I thought Mvp had bar none the best TvT?

MMA vs. MMA mirror match-up!

The results aren't that surprising though. Big part of why MVP was crushing all his TvTs was because he was actually the only one who mastered mech play. With the patch, everyone's trying out marine-tank again which used to be, and seems like still is MMA's most favourite/strongest style.

Mvp got leveled by Bomber pretty convincingly during the MLG Global Invitational recently also, which I suppose isn't a far cry from the normal. However, he does seem to be losing quite a bit in his tournament play post-August GSL finals...
Hopefully he pulls it together for October GSL as well as WCG Korea. Would be sick to see him SC2 bonjwa.

Well no. He's arguably the best overall but Bomber has a 7-3 head to head record against MVP and Ganzi is the only other person to ever beat MVP in a BoX in the GSL so clearly Slayers knows something about MVP that others do not.

Haha, just teasing.
It's always funny in Mvp-MMA match-ups the absolutely insane amount of mix-ups are committed by everyone.
