It's not a cancer joke at all, not all tumors are cancerous. Because the marine/tank spread is the most micro demanding battletask in the game right now. It's just not easy to do (though it is much easier when there aren't mutas picking off stray tanks.) Right spreading them out in such a way to not get picked off by mutas is the trick. One clump tanks are easy to defend.

Splits marines, spreads tanks etc... Coca made mistakes but that over-aggression would have worked against most Terrans.

He repeatedly attacked the middle of the map very aggressivly which kept seige tank numbers down, kept Nada immobile and let him continually scout what Nada was making while double expanding along the edges of the map. The only issue was he sat on lair tech for too long, if he had worked his way towards broods to stop the counter push after Nada broke out I think that game would have gone very very differently.

Both abused imbas. Terran cant beat zerg late game......... and zergs cant scout terran allins properly early game, thats just the fact and its a game flaw. I don't think that these games are a very good example of this, even if there's truth to it. T played every engagement really sloppy, i had my face in my hands nearly the whole time. Re the second, maybe but there are things he could have done possibly - zergling at ramp to at least see whats coming out etc It's more that the margin for error is very different depending on where in the game you are. Early game, if zerg messes up once to early pressure (either micro or scouting) he can die to properly executed pressure/harass. Late game, if terran mis-controls his army, he can lose to game to fungal/baneling. Zerg can generally retreat his army, whereas terran generally cannot retreat, and can lose 30+ marines in a heartbeat. I basically agree on both counts, but just because its harder to play T late game (more volatile) and harder to scout early as zerg etc does not necessarily make it imbalanced.... Oh that's exactly what I'm saying - I was just responding to the guy I quoted. EDIT: To give another example why, I'll use brood war: a maxed terran army is stronger than a maxed protoss army. However, the matchup was generally very balanced; in fact, people generally said P > T for a long portion of the game's history. I understand sc2 is a different game but a lot of the same concepts apply.
