If they get ahead, and comfortable, Collosi and HT are incredibly difficult to engage. Um, he almost won several times when he was incredibly behind just through EMPs. No, he kept himself in the game with those EMPs, and ridiculous micro against a toss who clumps his HT's together. Boxer never looked like he was going to win.

Marine splitting = amazing; storm dodging = amazing; positioning = amazing. But EMPs? The only thing that's changed with the patch is that now terrans hit sentries/HT with 2 EMPs rather than one. Meh. I freakin' love that map though, it's so pretty and actually quite interesting in terms of positioning. Go Genius! Lol, EMP is just pointing and clicking, "amazing" EMPs are not that hard with smartcasting. Storms as well. Yeah I don't see what was so impressive either, he just ran ahead with Ghosts, saw the Templar and EMP'd with with the 10range instant cast aoe -__- If Genius had been using an observer he would have lost those ghosts. He should have been loading them into medivacs and dropping to get EMP's, played a bit too risky

The map terrain is terrible for anyone playing on the offensive, random Pillars and chokes every where make landing EMP's much easier than it should be, likewise if Boxer was on the offensive Storming would have been much harsher on him. Show nested quote + I love how genius effectively only uses 4 hotkeys :< Sick battle control by boxer but it wasn't even close. lol, sure Genius didn't split his Templar but he did everything else right, Controlled his Zealots well, his Stalkers well, His Colossus well, never over committed. I don't see what was impressive with Boxers play other than just running ahead with Cloaked ghost and getting EMP's as the opportunities presented themselves. Even though he was EMPed, Genius did manage to actually retain a large number of his original HTs and sentries, which is always good. It helped him have the gas to be able to go into a large colossi count without neglecting his gateway unit upgrades. His positioning in pretty much every fight was constantly well done, too

Like getting 3-0'd by Hasu ![]() yeah, but hasu is cheated in PvT. But he won socke, mana and tyler. Socke was a walkover. If you really want to count that... thats some insane bias you have. Tyler hasn't been practicing all that much and there was that "issue". Don't see how you can make the comparison that they are equal to Genius. I didn't remember it was a walkover >< Still, for me Genius is an average toss...perhaps a little better than tester/sangho but way behind the top P. Sometime he'll have good builds and dominate and sometime he'll lose like an old sock, in a long game I'd say Boxer is the favorite. Socke did not play due to scheduling problems as he was travelling/playing in another tournament at the time, so the match never occurred. My bad for wrong usage of the word, meant to say that Boxer simply got a free win due to Socke's conflicting schedule. If you are making the comparison that Socke and Genius are on a similar level, does that make Socke "average" as well? He is often considered a top European player by other pros and has the results to show for it. Hard to even say Boxer is a favorite as Genius has a better tournament history than Boxer and is more successful in PvT than Boxer's TvP, based on the quality of players + win ratio.
