TaeJa not lifting off any buildings, losing all of his production facilities. TaeJa manages to hold the attack on his main while doing massamounts of damage. Ultras + fungals and banelings fend off TaeJa's attack 29.00 TaeJa just now scouts Life's hidden bottom left base, takes it out as life's forces arrive. Some amazing fungals on TaeJa's marines, but Life has lost all of his mining bases and is forced to GG out! TaeJa takes the lead 1-0!

What an intense game! Life getting an early lead with the speedling runby, capitalising on it by being constantly aggressive and expanding behind it. TaeJa managed to stay in the game long enough that his double ups began to kick in. Superior decision making and great micro won it for him in the end.
I would love to see TaeJa make the transition to ghosts in the lategame though. They are so strong against hive tech units.
Oh, and huge props to Superouman. I'm really loving this map now.

Yes, ghosts would be nice, but I'm not sure he'd be able to make the transition during that game, considering just how much pressure he was under, pretty much constantly. I'm just honestly surprised at how the engagements went down. I really think broodlords would have been better in that situation, especially considering he had multiple infestors.

Yes, I definitely think that broodlords would have worked better than ultras. Especially on that map, considering the many chokes and narrow passageways which broodlords can circumvent while ultras can't find the surface area to engage.
I'm speaking mostly in general about TaeJa's TvZ style. He doesn't seem to make the lategame transition to ghosts often in the games I've watched. He stays on his upgraded marine/tank composition and he does make them work most of the time. So, I guess he knows what he's doing.
Considering his ghost control in TvP, TaeJa with 20 ghosts would be sexy as hell though.
