yeah please listen to this guy and go back to sleep. your actions have no consequences, so please continue to support organizations that give credence to fascist states by bringing commerce to their country.

You do know that fascism isn't communism, right? And please, if you feel so strongly about this topic, make a thread in general and stop talking in this thread. We should be talking about the players, the games, and possibly artosis' off-key singing.

you do realize china is a fascist state, right? this is a thread for/about wcg. if you dont want to talk about the reality of whats happening, then stop responding to me.

This is a thread for the STARCRAFT 2 GAMES being played at WCG, not about China hosting WCG which it isn't. Please make a topic about how evil China is as a nation in the General section of TL if you feel so strong about it.

Personally, there are so many other countries to hate rather than China; even US has done some terrible things does that mean that WCG shouldn't be hosted there?

my argument is about WCG hosting an event in china, and subsequently we as an esport community shouldnt be supporting events that support the economy of said states by hosting their events in them.

Please go away. Please.

thats what the tibetans have been saying for 50+ years. that kind of mentality isnt helping anyone, if you have nothing to add to the discussion its you that should go away

Please make another thread in the general forums. This is a thread about the STARCRAFT 2 GAMES being played in BUSAN, SOUTH KOREA not about it being played in China which it obviously isn't.

this is actually a thread about WCG, which is the issue that im speaking about.

Who cares, WCG Chengdu was amazing, one of the best WCG in terms of organization and attendance.
Really looking forward WCG 2012/2013, that will be held in China

is that how your country works?
Because thats not how it should be.

The minority doesn't have to do what the majority says only because its the minority.
The minority only is obliged to share the same fate as the majority.

That's how it works in US. If it doesn't, we occupy places. We are the 99% lol

Mammalia I'm right there with you on the way that China's abused Tibet, but this isn't a political community. There's no reason to think that the esports community would ever agree in totality on a single political point. If you want to protest, then go ahead. Hell, start something serious about it. If you were able to get enough people to join your cause then maybe something would be done about it. But to suggest that the esport community as a whole should support any sort of political position is fairly presumptive and unrealistic on your part.

So yeah, could we be done talking about this now? Maybe you should start another topic for it.

you dont have to align with any political persuasion to see what happened to tibet were massive human rights violations. the point that im making is that we, as a community, are supporting the chinese state by supporting any event that decides to take their business into china and bring commerce to them.

Bling handled that pressure really well. I love the fact that he held back, allowed his upgrades to kick in and warp in some more units. Losing a few pylons and taking some damage on the nexus was worth the wait.

It's pretty awesome seeing a new guy on the scene that's got some impressive play.

the only shock is MKP coming in second in his group. Maybe the chinese since they didnt look great at IEM Guangzhou but they had a reputation of being fairly strong

Didn't he do a troll build against Darkforce? Still shocking that he loses with duch a build but still

it's a legit build. I've seen gumiho making it work before. mkp just didn't do it right, losing ghosts sloppily.

I don't think that GuMiho used it in important matches, ghost build
in tvz just seem very bad x)

Didn't he use it in the GSL? Thts kinda important
