EPTPvP can be a coin-flip despite how good someone is at it, and Squirtle has shown his PvP is up to par as well. Not to mention lets say MC takes out Squirtle. ST would then have an opportunity to snipe oGs's ace player in exchange for Squritle. Not exactly a great situation for oGs.
