Non-zergs don't realize how fragile zvz actually is. It really is like rock paper scissors, assuming your opponent is as good as you are.

For me, I find certain colors are more difficult to see depending on the race/map. Purple for zerg is difficult to differentiate on creep. Green blends in well with maps like Shattered Temple. Yellow/Orange can oftentimes look similar on the minimap.

I mean losing that game isn't the biggest deal in the world since Idra will still probably get top 2 in his division but IMO if you take yourself seriously as a progamer you should treat every game like it is a GSL final. more like 0,0000001% edit: and that would be probably a cause of power outage of b.net server

Thus he was neither as far ahead as he could have been economically or militarily(didn't commit to counter all in.) He just saw a bunch of zerglings, and was definitely not going to push out for at least a couple minutes, by which time Idra would have had his hatchery up and in a decent, albeit not preferred, position. Way to early to gg. IdrA was only up 5 drones Sen had the production to out-drone IdrA while being safe behind the ~10 roaches he had made, or the production to mass up a bit more roaches and go kill him. Either situation, Sen wins. Barring a massive mistake from Sen, he had the game won, whichever way he decided to play it.

All in all, for a supposed macro player like Idra... there was no reason to gg there.

Sen had roughly 8 roaches, which is totally different from 10. 8 roaches is really the magic number. It means Sen is playing cautiously, unsure of whether Idra is going towards a macro game or an all in. It means Idra had the opportunity to win if Sen didn't react correctly, pushed out too soon(and let Idra surround him), etc...
