Oh my god, best finals ever. GSL needs to take a page out of TSL book.

Thorzain is so inspiring to me ^^

Now I need to go nail everything down, the Naniwa rage earthquake should probably hit my state here shortly.
I don't Micro, I FEMTO. That's 9 orders of magnitude more extreme.

Every single EMP was GOLD. That's the kind of micro that makes people go: "WTF NERF EMP!!!"
GG indeed. Go Thorzain!

Poor Chill. Being treated like that by Naniwa. How rude and impolite attitude. I was rooting for Thorzain anyways but now I just want Naniwa looses bad.

Fuck off, it's the best of 7 for 15000 bucks, last game in the series, incredibly tense they don't want that shit.
Chill understands and leaves like a great guy that he is.

Whatever dude, nevertheless it was a very poor attitude. He should show some respect to others no matter what, maybe he should just GROW UP

He busted his balls to earn his place at the championship. It's his game to lose so he can tell an announcer to leave if it's detrimental to the outcome.

You seem to not understand my point. I agree he can ask someone to leave but not in that way. Can't believe some people supports bad manners in such a big event.

Try putting yourself in his position? One game away from winning TSL3 and 15k, this is something he has worked for over months now, so it's pretty understandable if he's not being too picky with his wording. Chill is a competitor and understands this as well, naniwa obviously didn't mean any harm.

naniwa choked, nerves got to him after he had his huge lead in this series

The lag in the last game seemed to effect him more than it did Thorzain.

Tbh I saw no hint of lag effecting either one. Don't get me wrong, it probably did effect them, but it was just not noticeable to the point, deciding which it effected more would be pretty silly. It's just good that all the times those spikes came, there was pretty much nothing going on.

Naniwa is well known to have a bad temper.

Losing 2 games in a row due to failed all-ins/aggressions + that lag would have really made him lose a lot of focus IMO. His macro fell during that first push (banking up to 2k minerals) and then he never went for forges or twilight councils. And like THorzain said. He also could have took an expansion after dealing massive damage with that Colossus harass.

He was just too focused on winning that he didn't realize he still wasn't that far ahead.

You are probably right... I'm realy sad for Nani right now, as I think he's the better player of the two...

Horribly produced and commentated tournament but good games overall except the finals of course.

Stop talking. The games are made epic by the commentators, give those games to amateur commentators and it would've been crap. It was a fantastic series but don't try to pull some bullshit like this saying it's horribly produced and commentated. TSL is one of the best productions in all of Starcraft, the energy level, consistency, reliability and comedy is unmatched and something to be admired.

I really wish you were banned for this statement simply because it's so wrong and so useless but you probably won't be.

Wow that last game was so tense. Seemed like either of them could've fell at any moment, but then Thorzain just goes and kills the third and that sealed the deal. I think Naniwa should've hung back and rebuild and get some charge tech, get a better position, etc.

I really just want to take this reply to say that this has been more professional than any tournament that I've been witness to so far in SC2. Terrible Battle.net connections aside, the casting, pre- and post-game discussion, and especially the supreme quality of the graphical overlays and transitions made me feel like I was watching this on Television, and that made me even more pumped. It's awesome when nerds get together to make something as fantastic as this, and I'm eternally grateful for your efforts to present us the very best Starcraft 2 gameplay and tournament I've seen.

Thank you, from one terribly casual player.

But I don't think his voice would have lasted an entire game at that speed.

And was he close to crying with joy at the end there, or was that just me?

However many fans were cheering in unison at some great in-game play, I assure you as many if not more were screaming in unison as the debilitating stream lag made the climax of a several months long investment unwatchable. Not happy with Team Liquid.

Also, I would like to point out. Day9 was a damn good solo caster O.O Like really really good....
SC:BW has a higher skill ceiling than SC2? SC 64 is where it's at brah.
