A lot of the GSL players get a lot more crap then they should because of 1 bad game or something, or are just remembered for a game where they cheesed to win, which almost every player has done (though not all).

His TvP was pretty awful at the time and he was baneling busted by July twice to fall into the initial up/down matches. Basically, he was cheesed out initially and then had to play his weakest matchup, where he was also cheesed.

MVP just played bad, suiciding his early groups of MM into forcefields and then eventually letting powerhouse protoss lategame takeover. Both Alicia and Genius played better than him at the time.

I honestly feel like TvP is pretty volatile compared to other terran matchups it doesn't rely on different points of the game as much as that one big battle and whoever loses out will probably end up losing the game because then they can just rush your base afterwards TvZ and TvT will have a lot of small moments that matter and in TvT you can turtle and make a come back by just turtling up and looking for the right moment
