I'm glad to be proven wrong about Huk, because I love seeing foreigners in code S, but his play has not been code S material up until this point, and even now he played MMA when MMA was not displaying his greatest level of play. He got an invite straight into code A, and an easy path to code S, and then got rolled in Ro32, has displayed pretty poor play in everything else he's been in since (barring the decent finish in MLG).
This isn't a "he doesn't deserve code S," post, because he won his right back into code S and that's that. My point is that when he finally gets a win, he displays no humility. I don't think he's going to improve enough to advance through code S until his ego deflates a bit.
When it does deflate though, I'm positive he will be a monster. He's progressed in huge bursts since beta, stagnating inbetween each major improvement. Letting some of his ego go is going to be his next big hurdle.

Hehe, they're showing highlight's of NesTea's game 1 against AnyPro. God that game was so much fun to watch. AnyPro got rolled so hard.

Count probes, look for proxy pylons.

His timing in g1 was like 15-20 seconds off.. It was bad, but not gamebreaking, and it could very well have worked.
In game 2, what do you think exactly that MMA could have done different from the information he had available? HuK was better today, no doubt in my mind

Because people think that Protoss is the only race that can be greedy when expanding, every other race is standard and whatever all-in that beat them should be nerfed

MMA was on a massive tilt after the game against MKP and he clearly didn't prepare at all for a TvP, his builds were not refined, his execution was poor. And Huk played pretty well, he totally deserve his code s spot even if i think MMA is a better player overall.
Edit: MMA's build in game 2 was really bad 1/1/1 after a 1rax expand without knowing what your opponent is doing, it's a massive gamble and he paid for it.

Do some research before you speak. Umm there was only Marine king and MMA himself MMA who has shown a spectacular TvT showing in the past compared to marineking's relatively low success recently with his bio should have been an easy killing Huk to be honest is not code S material and if you have been doing your research you would know that MMA has a very solid TvP
MMA has not shown solid tvp other than beating mc ONCE, and beating code a tosses

Huk 1 gate expands, then goes for 2 more gateways immediately because he understands that you actually need more than 8 army supply to hold off a rush. He quickly adds gates 4 and 5 as he realizes what is happening.
MMA 1 rax expands, makes minimal efforts to scout what Huk was doing (pretty suer he never scanned so the proxy warpgates made no difference at all), then immediately throws down a factory, researches siege mode and goes for a starport as well. All while making marines out of a single barracks.
See any differences there?

its greedy when u expo than tech. and stay on what, 1 rax?

I really hope that TheWind will stay. Forever Code S :D

Huk was picked last, I believe, in the last group selections. So the Koreans obviously have a high regard for his ability.

lol only Huk would do a ceremony after an up and down match. he'll find his way to Code A eventually
