I mean Huk isn't very good in PvP, morrow has not a very strong ZvP (still he's a good player), and Boxer is Boxer, he's never really been that good since he went into sc2, plus he has lag, playing from Korea.
Hasu is good and did pretty well in this TSL, but his victories weren't really unexpected, at least for me (unlike Thorzain). Problem is naniwa is just a level higher than all hasu's opponents so far. He should win this.
I'm just going to kick back and enjoy the show. I think there's no calling Naniwa an underdog anymore, but neither should we think HasuObs as one. I mean, in my opinion, he's one of the best right now. I think he's proven that with both solid play and results. He might not have a major tournament victory in his pocket (yet), but he's proven he can go toe to toe with people who have done well in these tournaments.
On the other hand, Naniwa is Naniwa and while I don't think it's possible to call someone "the best", Naniwa is at least a hot candidate for that title.

Well he just smacked Thorzain so man, I don't really see how Nani possibly wont win this tournament. He's the duwg.

That's the most impressive thing I've seen in a long time!
Plus he dominated ThorZain.

Mouzzz fighting! (but truth to be told I wouldnt be too upset if Naniwa made it)

PvP + day9 & Husky, wooow thats exciting ... no?
|
NaniwA hasn't lost a single boX in like 30 matches including todays DH IOL and the road to korea tournament.
Statistically, he will win. And statistics always prevail

I hate PvP, but I hope for some entertaining games. :>

Naniwa should be the favourite, he is a nerd furor at the moment, even heard some people say he was the best player in the world at the moment, allthough that is always a tough thing to say. Anyways, HasuObs is an intelligent player. He certainly has planned and prepared stuff and i actually hope that he wins this semi finals. Despite being a bo7 PvP this is going to be such a nice thing to watch!
|
The way HasuObs has been playing lately, I can definitely see him winning.
|
I hope this will be a cool PvP ( is that an oxymoron btw ?)
Had the Kas vs Thorzain games spoiled 2 days before the broadcast by Kas in a ladder game so no excitement there, hopin this one will be good
|
Gogo hasuobs. I hope his hard training will bring him a victory against nani.

Morrow's ZvP is pretty damn good. Hasu beating Morrow was def an upset. I agree with Huk and Boxer though.
Nani is easily the best Protoss in europe though, by a wide margin on everyone else except White-Ra.

i think in general naniwa is the better player, but hasu has recently shown some of the best unit control in the world and is really improving his game. this is gonna be closer than the liquibet shows. we'll see
|
Wow this is really a exciting match! Can't wait to see how hasu will respond to nani's good PvP!
|
3h left and even tho it's a PvP I'm really excited. Go Naniwa!
To get to the final you have to win vs. 1 terran, 1 zerg and 2 toss. Thorzain have done it already, who will be the next one?

MorroW hasn't won a ZvP in ages, he's completely tilted in that matchup He got 3-0'd by Grubby ffs

If statistics always prevail ( ) then wouldn't thorZain have lost to Kas' amazing TvT record? Nonetheless, gogo ThorZain!!!!

He beat Huk recently.

Heart says hasu, mind says naniwa. I just hope for amazing games and that the deserving person takes the win tonight!
|
Naniwa >>>> Huk :D
Hasu said in a german interview some days ago, that he prepared very hard for this match and Hasu did pretty well in the last tournaments etc. I think it will be a very close match, which is hard to predict.
cheering for Hasu ofc :-)
