Yea rather sad. People care more about who's playing than the quality of the games ;(. Also who's casting.

Husky advertises to his huge YT subscriber base when he's going to be casting. a good portion of that 50K showed up for Husky.

Thorzain: the legend killer of SC 2.

could be, could be i hope for thorzain vs hasuobs
I wouldn't be surprised if Hasuobs beats Naniwa though, PvP is pretty volatile, and Hasuobs is a beast.

Thorzain is totally one of the best players in the world when he has time to prepare specifically for an opponent.

Dont get carried away. His 1st push was really nice, but despite that nothing really impressive, and his macro was really sloppy compared to kas. But nice build order, giving him a great lead at the beginning (kas banshees did 0 economic damage, just 1 scan), if kas uses macro build order it'll be really harder I think. Yeah, his macro was so sloppy that he had a supply and an upgrade lead during the entire game.

Kas vs ThorZain poll after game 1 33-67
-_- Obviously it's cause Thorzain won the first game. Kas is nervous about him now yeah he logged into TL and voted like 200-300 times for thorzain :o lol... that wasn't what I was suggesting XD

That was weird, but I don't know how they have it set up -- do they both see what we see, or are they both controlling their own screens? I just assumed Chill was looking somewhere else when that happened.

Part of it was having Husky casting, he posted videos on his youtube account with like 500k subscribers promoting it, and the other reason I guess is all the biggest names got knocked out after that. No matter how awesomely good Kas and Thorzain are, names like MVP, MC, IdrA etc will pull in more viewers.

Since Koreans and other big names were still in the Ro32, it got more viewers than today.

Thorzain got a 15 supply lead after his small first push, which kas evened out when they both got to 91 food.

Look at his production/money. His build orders are really good, but he should avoid pure macro mode against kas.
