Things like canceled matched should be announced ahead of time. You do film these things beforehand after all.

very classy move by NASL and haypro allowing NaDa to focus his efforts on GSL. Well played.

Yay! Thank haypro for allowing Nada to play later!

Hah... how awkward would that be to not let Nada of all people in his group not play. They live in the same house.

Awwww no Nada!!!! On the other hand, it's a good thing. I can now study for my finals without Nada distracting me.

really? nada is on in a few hours in gsl semifinals =p

I'd say that's the bigger distraction.

Haypro let him postpone, it's up to the other player.

Armchair SC2 pros (I mean that in a positive way!):

Had all those infestors survived the templar sniping (say, had they been back at the natural), would they have been able to convincingly turn the tide? Would mass fungaling be good in that scenario, or is it best to just neural a bunch of optimal targets?

Protoss army in mid, fungal, run back. Fungal, run back keep doing it til they die. You have 6 infestors u can kill any ground army. It's the feedback that shuts down that play.

It's all about unit control and positioning. if you know that P got High templars, you NEED to keep the infestors in a good position. Also there are a lot of techniques that allow infestors to stay safe.

Along that line, obviously it wouldn't apply here due to the observer, but he did have burrow - I'd like to see more Zergs actually "idle" their infestors burrowed rather than standing w/ army. Seems like people could take advantage of this trickery at least a little.

You're right, there's burrow micro, also if you have the Ventral Sacs upgrade for Overlord you can hide Infestors into Ovelords then micro them accordingly. Think shuttle / reaver but with different micro.

That was a good interview from Naniwa. He seems to have a good attitude. One thing I would criticize is that he may want to consider actually naming his sponsors to promote them a bit.

Thats right. He still has to learn on that part.
At least he mentioned team and sponsors, last time he was asked if wants to give shoutouts, he said "no" ^^

Nani is much humbler in this interview than he was at MLG. Makes my dislike of him dissipate a bit.

Was he arrogant at MLG? I think the "ehh it was ok" was a product of being interviewed live after such a long day in a foreign country in a language you are not familiar with.

Pretty sure it was not like " that was easy i expected it" but more like " i don't know what to say"

Well, if I recall correctly, he kept going on about how easy his ride to the finals had been. He also said, when asked about future MLGs, "I'll just win that too."

It's a personal preference, but I am a much bigger fan of humbler performers.

Things have obviously changed since then. Also, it's up to the opponent I think. Calm down...

Nada doesn't live in the oGs house.

Hey, did anyone catch how many probes Naniwa pulled that 2nd game and how many probes he left to mine?

That excellent decision won him the game, so I would love to know exactly how many probes he pulled. kthx

That's because it's up to the other player whether to accept a walkover win or to postpone the match to be played at a later date. July chose the free win, Haypro chose to postpone and play later.

First off Haypro let him... they live in the same house so it's no surprise. Also, WhiteRa wasn't responding to the NASL and had July wait 4 hours. (I am a WhiteRa fanboy btw so I am quite unbiased in this situation).
