It seems to be a lot larger if you skip roaches, judging from the games tonight.

Give it a rest folks, the VR/colossus composition involves one robo 2 stargate. oh so if i have 20 void rays off of one stargate and 5 colossus off of 2 robo, it's not a VR colossus composition? GREAT LOGIC!! If you want to go VR/Colossus then you need two stargates otherwise you don't have the production.
This is like Terran making tanks from one factory and calling it Mech.
He has voidrays in his army, but it isn't the same VR/Colossus that you think it is.

That was also a long time ago when, quite simply, July was not playing a remotely stable style and got kind of lucky to advance so far.
Nowadays he has evolved hugely and is truly excellent.

No, IdrA doesn't like CrunCher at all... today on his stream, apparently, Cruncher saw it and cheated when matched up vs Grack in the ladder and winning. :D There was no proof either way - can we keep this crap out of the LR thread and actually focus on the game?

As a toss, it's so frustrating. So many better things he could be doing What's better than Colossus/void ray when you actually have to defend? He took so much damage that he was behind badly and couldn't push out. He also had to rebuild his economy. Define "so many better things" that he actually could do given the circumstances.
He wouldn't have been in that position if he didn't open with stargate and then fast robo lol Cruncher is the most one dimensional player I've ever seen in sc2 after bitbybit

Quoting for emphasis.
Go go July you can 2-0 easy peasy!

Time for the Nestea spine crawler build... dunno how well it would work on temple though.

He played well, but there were some shocking moments for July in that game, maybe it was lag, but that certainly wasn't outclassing lol considering how he was caught off guard he handled it ridiculously well and came back fairly fast with an uncontested push. I would like to see more of a mixture of mutas and corrupters against void ray collosus imo it can be much more effective.
Well...all the mutas did in the final battle was to tank stalker shots...I think more corrupters/roaches would have been more cost effective there. They did do some earlier harass though, obviously, which was the whole point.

Because most people have only seen his 4 gate game against Idra and heard SOTG say that he plays a boring style. He actually plays quite a standard protoss style these days not unlike Incontrol or Tyler.
