What is so strange? 1-5 results from the DHW10 and AMD championship. 6-7 BYOC qualifiers @ DHS11. 8-10 Invites to be released on a later date. 11-48 "invites" based on the process started with this thread. Kind of up front in my opinion.

Some qualified pros from before, some local guys (BYOC qualifiers), and a whole slew of international top stars and fan favourites. Best of both worlds, like TSL.

Its really logical, actually. 1-5 from previous events 6-7 from on-location qualifiers 8-10 Special invites (not up for applications - think fan favorites etc.) 11-48 The rest of the invites (from applications announced in this thread) Should be an awesome tournament. Very, very excited!

Kind of hard to plan for things that is not created yet. The DHW10 was played with the standard rules, that they always have used regarding prizepool invites, the change came later. You must have a shift somewhere when changing the construction of a prizepool from one invite to two. Yeah, they obviously couldn't plan for something that they haven't done yet. But that doesn't restrict them from just taking MaNa and putting him in. That's what I don't understand. The runner up invite didn't NEED to exist when DHW10 was going on, because they could just invite him now.

Invited to the finals = runner up. :D Nice that he still gets good treatment. ^^ Interesting you have so many BYOCs, means something to play each day. Wonder if I can make it there, seems fun. Dreamhack's always been a BYOC. You can't supply the worlds biggest lan with computers. That'd be pretty expensive. Plus they have to pay the internet bill for 40 gigabytes / second.. lol imagine that coming down you mail box :X
