If however you'd like to remain a Pole, I have no doubt Poland will welcome you home with open arms. There is this prevalent belief that Canadians have no identity- my experience has been that few immigrants who come here want to accept a Canadian identity, they'd rather just be an X in Canada while reaping the benefits of our free healthcare and enjoying a lack of whatever government imposed prosecution caused them to leave their own country in the first place. Horrific generalization, yes, but sadly it couldn't be more obvious than here in Toronto; where I'd wager more than 50% of the residents of the GTA are english as second language yet can't speak a word of French. I hate never hearing english on the TTC and couldn't be more proud of my Canadian identity, but sadly we patriots are a dying breed, even amongst Canadians. + Show Spoiler + But we won a hockey gold medal? Everyone thought that would restore Canadian pride *Facepalm* as to OP; This is why it will forever be known as the SkyDome. Nothing that ever housed a winner will be remembered as a Rogers' anything. my hero. And in response to the magical internet liberation party guy, if you paid any attention to party platforms you would know the NDP have an extensive plan to basically do just that. ^_^

The reason why i don't think it's a hop issue is because if you go use a website like http://www.silentsurf.co.uk/ which is a site that usually lets you go to sites that are blocked or whatever it actually loads gomtv.net for me.. but when i try to watch a video link it doesn't work. So it actually leads me to believe rogers is doing something on purpose here.. The agent from Rogers said "we don't block websites" yeah my ass you don't hahahaha then why can I access gomtv through a proxy?? They are such thieves...

1) Rogers can hit it internally from their desk at the call centre (but this might be 3rd party support and not on the Rogers network) 2) I've told them my BB can reach it on 3G but my iPhone can't, and home internet can't (edit: both phones are on Rogers) 3) Mentioned it times out on my 7th hop which is the first hop out of the Rogers network 4) I'm on hold while they dig into it more because they agree something doesn't add up This is about the only point in time having multiple cellphones isn't a pita ![]() EDIT: So I talked to numerous people and this is a situation (like Blizzard had with CogeCo some months ago) where the customer is screwed and GomTV is going to have to go after Rogers/Global Crossing to get this resolved. I suppose I can e-mail GOM with this information since they are aware of it and see if they can track it down.

So is this a confirmed Rogers specific problem now? Was this a conscious decision to limit bandwidth use, or is it just a temporary thing?
