...... With that build ultras just arent a possibility, you need alooot of upgrades for them to be good. He couldnt support such a switch with no melee upgrades and barely enough income to keep producing | ||

The problem with BLs though is that they have just a very small momentum. Together with some ground force / infestors they can singlehandedly defeat the standard Marine/Tank comp, as you can't really let your tanks sieged. MVP attacked right in the moment before Min would have wanted to attack himself and if you morph your BLs at your base rather than his, the Terran has sufficent time to pump 2 rounds of Vikings as they are so slow. BL/Infestor is just turning the Zerg army in such an immobile force that this one BL push with your first 5 or 6 BLs has to hit extremely hard. If it doesn't, you're lacking ground upgrades, a big muta-force, drop tech and a ton of other stuff you would usually use to combat a late-game terran. Edit: I honestly felt that a bunch of Queens would have been great to support the BLs. Lategame Queens aren't just a gimmicky Funday-Monday-Build. They tank absurd amounts of damage and allow you to win that Viking - Corruptor/BL battle. Though considering Mins army control wasn't up to par with MVPs already, thats probably expecting too much. | ||
