I'm sorry, maybe it's just my inexperience with following starcraft leagues but with the growing number of W.O.'s it really conveys to me that the players don't care about the league.

Damn, I think many of these players are doing this for a living, or least a part time job. If my boss says I have to be at work one day a week for 3 hours, I make myself available.

No one in the realm of professional sports just takes breaks whenever they feel like it because they have built a big enough lead over the competition or it's early enough in the season that it won't hurt them all that much. Ok, maybe sc2 isn't to that point yet but isn't that the point of this league? To get it there. To be taken seriously and further E-sports. As a professional, being paid by a team and representing that team, how professional is it to miss any matches that you have committed to. Or am i wrong in calling qxc a professional gamer.

If this were just some game being played for fun you would not see these posts from me. But there is big money involved in this and plans on growing it into a mainstay.

With the big tennis tournaments coming up, are you honestly saying that professionals trying to win, say, French Open, schedule their holidays right at the time of the tournament?

Yes, NASL runs for a long time, bug cmon now, Spring Break must be the most ridiculous excuse for missing a playday...like....ever.

Also I'm not a professional athlete and just a random real-life-job-joe, and I can't even remember the last time when I had one whole week vacation (I think it was last year July though). Also QXC is even still studying, which is like 10 times less exhausting than having a job.

IF NASL manages to fix all the problems it could really take off I think. Sub-par casting like Gretorp inventing words that dont exist constantly could actually be funny, but the thing is that he is serious when he invents these words and not joking around. Words like Disadvantagable, protectionistical and Colosisms dont really exist....but it was kind of funny that Gretorp thinks they do!

It would be awesome to get some Total Biscuit casting for sure! As for the rest, I have to admit I am greatly enjoying my subscription to NASL and watch it every night that I can. I really hope that they manage to get some sponsors and enough subscriptions to make the show a little bit more professional because lets face it- NASL has the best damn line-up out there and the games have been amazing!

Im not a huge gretorp fan, but if totalbiscuit is brought in I will stop watching. Khaldor is good enough 2th caster, and diggity was great.

I don't have a problem with Gretorp, but I completely agree that if TotalBiscuit is casting I won't be watching any of those games. I do like the effort that he puts into casting and seems to put into trying to improve but it just isn't my cup of tea.

50 players playing a game every week.It's not unrealistic to think that conflicts will come up fairly frequently over the course of the season. These are people with busy schedules and this is not their only event. We lament that GSL is the only game in Korea, by and large, and if we feel that way, then we have to accept that foreigners who have far more options available to them will at times have conflicts.

Don't think it reflects on the league itself, it more just reflects on the format of the league. Also, people feel they can make a comeback later in the regular season. I don't know how easy that will be, but it is what it is.
