White-Ra playing so well right now, just poking Sjow down and getting further ahead.

bottem right corner I belive is what your looking for. It starts at the lowest stream quality while IPL starts at the highest odd I know but its perfectly fine if you can change it like justin.tv does

ipl - totalbiscuit reaching out to newcomers to "ignore the jargon" and "focus on the action" nasl - gretorp calling sjow's tvp build order/map strategy exactly based on past matches
the production value may be higher, ipl may have nice overlays and pretty pre-match versus screens, but im gonna give nasl the edge in content value Meh gretorp is a terrible caster, so is total biscuit but hes not casting anymore, and ill take DJWheat anyday over Gretorp, Like a baus! and at least the sound quality and the video are actually decent, im a subscriber for NASL and i cant stand the terrible sound or the video running at 15 fps it literally gives me a huge headache =*( i want to like the NASL but the value isnt there even though ive already payed for it.
1080p still sucks if it runs at 15 fps BTW, and no its not dependant on the user and their computer, its like that for everyone and its a problem with their encoding, if you didnt notice it , its because your not very experienced with video quality. Because it is running defenetly at less than 24 fps (framerate for television and generally considered the lowest for smooth framerates)
I woudlnt call that value, id call that terrible production

The main thing putting me off of watching NASL is the audio quality.
I feel like the first 2 days it wasn't this bad (the audio quality was still noticably subpar though), but now it seems kind of just awful--like the casters are talking into laptop mics over Skype. The levels are off too, and the lack of SC2 music makes the audio feel a little empty, but the main problem is that there's more white-noise and static than there is actual voice. The audio just doesn't seem professional.
If the audio was crisp I'd have almost no qualms with NASL and I'd watch it every evening. Is it the mics or the post-production that is making the audio poor? It's very off-putting.

Colossi go down, but blink finishes and Ra is in great position.

Great blinks to snipe tanks! Taking Sjow down 2-1! Good work White-Ra and an interview!
|
Awww yeah White-Ra interview.
|
Man oh man. NASL, IPL, Spazcraft, Sen and Spanishiwa streams, and now Day9 coming on?? Craaaaaaazy...
For all its faults, the NASL really did do a great job getting a fantastic diversity of players. With the frequency of play, the chances for a great game daily are pretty high. Hoping July has a good day!

whitera interview!!
triple streaming fuck yeah

Whitera making up for the earlier W.O.
Nice victory. Whitera on the phone... so hard to understand. MC is easier.

Not that I think these leagues need 100k viewers to succeed but I don't think it is as unrealistic a number as some of you may perceive. WIth stream+vod+televised viewers combined I am sure GSL is over 100k viewers per match on average, and with stream+vods TSL may be over as well.
|
See that? That's called macro. That's something a significant number of KR protoss' can't do all that well.
|
GG Good job White-Ra, nice to finally see him play in NASL. Man gotta switch between IPL and this ><
|
|
Bah, just tuning in. Every single walkover has been against someone on my fantasy NASL team :-(
