If you know the results, keep it to yourself please. Be nice to those who don't want to be spoiled.
Thanks! |

I even made the decision to skip my man White-Ra's matches. Please keep up the good work Thanks, again, we are blown away by your support and passion for the IPL, we're proud of the effort that IGN and WP has put in, and will continue putting forth the best product possible.
Just out of curiosity, how are you making money from this tournament? There aren't even any commercials between games!

Ahhh must watch! I'll be F5'ing every few mins to see if the vods show up :D

There were no commercials because they got 1000 likes on FB yesterday. The next day or w/e will have the regular commercials.

Ah, thank you I certainly don't mind watching commercials between games for this level of production ^^

Wow... I read the comments when I got home earlier today, and I was like... ok I think people are just overreacting. It is an online tournament so the production quality can't be that amazing... but wow it looks VERY professional. Well done so far guys! I'm really hoping the success continues, and that people continue to watch.
Edit: At another look, I like the stats at the end. Yeah they aren't the MOST useful, but I'm the kind of guy that likes those kind of numbers, and I can't imagine I'm the only one.
One criticism that I do want to add (which really isn't a big deal whatsoever) is that you may want to keep which player is on which side of the screen consistent. After Vibe beat Minigun, he was on the left side of the screen when the stats were being displayed, though he was on the right side earlier.
I really want to stress that this did not bother me, nor do I think it's a big deal, but I figured it would be just as easy to put him on the "correct" side (unless you guys always have the winner on the left) as it is to put them on the other side... and it may help people who don't know the players all too well keep track of them after reading a bit about them at the beginning.

LOL look at how they did their vods. better than gsl and definitely owns the nasl justin.tv vod debacle
|
VODs seem to be up now. yay

Wondering what the viewers peaked at. Fell asleep when the viewer count was at 7.5k. Pretty sure it went higher.

I saw a bit over 12k at one point but I wasn't checking that much.

Gonna watch the VoD's today (EU) but looks promissing.

Dumb question, how do I view games 2/3 on the vods? I can only see game 1 on there then it just stops and I can't find game 2.

Same...really annoying. Guess I'll just watch all the game 1's until I can figure this out.

LOL I'm glad I'm the shameless one that decided to post about it first. Looks like we'll just have to wait til they fix it.

I just waited and it switched to game 2.

I had the same problem when watching in HD. When you watch in SD the next match automatically loads up, but not when your in HD.

Are you seriously saying I was bashing him randomly without any content to back it up? Sorry but I do actually think about what I'm about to say unlike someee peopleee who speak so fast they dont have the time to construct a train of thought that actually LEADS somewhere. Pro casters can transition deeper into more interesting ideas while still being entertaining just like the pro gamers transition into their builds. No one wants to watch cruncher do all in's every game just like no one wants to watch cruncher sit back and never leave his base. Lol I know I'm hating a little on cruncher but he just came to mind. Who says we should only have one or the other? WE DESERVE BOTH! My prime example: Day9. I know he gets brought up as the savior of casts but its true. And a Pro caster needs to be able to work with someone else. I think we can all agree Tastosis is the most successful of any casting team or solo caster. I wouldnt wanna watch Day9 cast every match of SC2 ever as much as I enjoy his commentary. But throw in DJwheat next to him or Chill or even Husky. Husky is a good example of someone who can keep you enthralled in the action and still drop knowledge on you. Also he casts very well as a team and always keeps his partner apart of the conversation. I haven't seen TB cast as a team but I can only imagine how hard it must be for someone else to cast alongside that tornado of words coming out.
BTW how long does it take you to read 2.5 paragraphs man? Took me a couple minutes, if that. Sorry if my post wasn't dumbed down enough for ya I know youre a fan, hell youre the chief promoter, of that sorta thing. Wait. You find Husky's level of analysis acceptable? Sort of devalues any valid criticism of TB you may have had dunnit.
No. Not even close to comparable styles. No where did I say Husky is the deepest shaman of Starcraft2. But compared to TB he is. Every time biscuit tried to roam from his comfort zone of doing play by play on two lings crossing the map and not talking about the builds or strategies involved he ended up looking foolish. More than a few people in the chat would laugh and correct him. "It had nothing to do with the Immortals he just didn't have enough Zealots" is one obvious correction I can remember.

VODs are up! At least for the first games.
It's a bit annoying that it pops up in a floating HTML frame, if you click off it by accident the frame is killed along with your position in the VOD. I imagine the annoyance will be compounded when there's an advert to watch at the start as well!
Love the production value as everyone's said! Those score screens at the end and the drawn cartoon-style player portraits is awesome! Really gives the IPL a unique feel to it.

Have TotalBisciout improved or have I just got used to him? He seems less annoying compared to some weeks ago when I first listened to him (and havent listened to him since then).
