If you know the results, keep it to yourself please. Be nice to those who don't want to be spoiled.

Other than ONE CASTER. It's an amazing program thankyou lots for bringing this to life everyone, you really stepped up the bar for tournament production. Please put TB with someone and tell him not to talk so much if you wont get rid of him. And you won't cause too many people think hes good, but he's really not. He has nothing interesting or thought provoking to say and he overloads the sound with his voice. I like to hear SOME of the game sounds not this guys voice for a half hour straight. ITS TIRING. Thankyou again, amazing work, much appreciated. Especially the free VOD's. Thats NASL's biggest flaw by far. Gretorp is rapidly improving and so is Geoff. They have some good laughs now and they bring an enjoyable atmosphere to the games along with the most important thing: ALL THE KNOWLEDGE THEY DROPPING. I'm touched, a novel has been written about me. Are you so above criticism you can't respond to it in an intelligible fashion? A professional would work on his flaws, not make snarky remarks about others pointing them out.
Despite how long that post was, it was almost completely devoid of constructive criticism.

Its quite clear and obvious that the guy was barely posting criticisms but it was more bashing/slandering going on. Half the things that were said don't even make sense.

Anyways good luck to both IGN and NASL they are both great its just IGN is greater. You are wrong. IPL needs to learn from NASL. IPL may look pretty and nice (tbh it really does, great job guys) The better and more important games are coming from NASL right now. And that is really what matters to us all... (speaking ONLY in terms of production, you are right) NASL games dont feel important at all right now like tyler said in SOTG "i know that every game is important they just dont feel important and its hard for me to get pumped as a player or a viewer" something along those lines, i think most people feel the same way. I am also kind of happy about an NA only tournament Koreans just perform so much worse in cross server online tournaments. Look at Nada , even though he beat dde, his macro micro and economy management is terrible, then you say "well those things have nothing to do with lag" but they defenetly do when you watch nada play in the gsl he is a fuckign macro micro beast, his games are 10x more impressive live clearly lag is affecting him more then we all know, or he just turns into a macro hulk in live tournaments, either way NASL is anticlimatic for me to watch players get crushed who i know could be dominating if it were a live tournament. Originally i wanted Koreans in the tournament, but it just makes them look bad, if they want to deal with it then thats fine but it really doesnt make them look good at all and everyone is basing the fact that foreigners have caught up off of online tournaments, WC koreans dominated pretty hard im not saying foriegners cant take games off of them but most foreigners dont stand a chance. If nada played TVT like he did against MKP in the TSL Kas game, im pretty sure the results would have been alot different, but he was getting supply blocked making 3 depots at once, queuing up units 4 deep and getting 11 behind in the scv count really early on in the game with no engagements or harass. It just sucks for them because it makes them look so shitty.

Only a test run, just wait for 2nd season when they ramp it up with great players (the only thing they are lacking so far).
I agree, NASL has better players for sure! but how can I watch when the low fps makes me dizzy and my eyes literally hurt.

Please don't be discouraged by that, specially the part about verbosity, I find eloquence refreshing and entertaining, and a necessary addition to a game that tbh doesn't have a lot of depth right now.

TBH... I didn't always enjoy listening to you TB. At first, it bothered me that you didn't ever seem to know the current meta game, let alone some tells and plays ect... I get it, your a great shout caster that is involved in a lot of other platforms, so you have to try your best to generally understand things for individual games. I'll totally admit that the inner-nerd in me didn't like my games being called without encyclopedic knowledge only realized by people who spend 8+ hours a day watching/playing the game.
But, then I realized that I wasn't watching the finals of DH or GSL or IEM... I realized that there are times when a seemingly boring game (for the more advanced viewer) can really become quite entertaining casted in the right light. A great example was tonight with mini vs vibe. The game wasn't revolutionary in any sense, but it was still exciting -- I've always been a huge fan of mini's and I wanted him to win. A tempo based caster really adds to these kind of games for spectators, and really helps draw less advanced viewers in. And when we're not watching something game changing, something that expert experience and analysis can really polish through knowledgeable commentary -- then entertaining commentary is just fine, and should be appreciated; it's not unheard of for tastosis to cast half of a boring match with jokes if there's really little to say about the game.
Of course, everyone has there own likes and dislikes, but that can't really be helped. The main thing that is important, if people dislike you, they should dislike your style.... if they dislike you for you lack of game knowledge -- given the games you generally cast for the community -- they are just immature, since, if they have the game pegged better than you, they should really be able to check the supply, units, and production and know whats going on just fine on their own.
In the end, you bring something different to the table, a bit of excitement that we see a lot in the non foreign scene, and that's something I like a lot. Whether it's Artosis going nutz over Jinro going mech against MC or Minigun trading bases with Vibe... enthusiastic casting is a great thing for the community. And that's something I can say I appreciate.
Stay positive fella ^^

Hmmm the game definitely has more depth than you appear to think it does. And you are using the word eloquent entirely wrong. Look of the definition. Overly verbose =/= eloquence.

IPL may look pretty and nice (tbh it really does, great job guys) The better and more important games are coming from NASL right now. And that is really what matters to us all... (speaking ONLY in terms of production, you are right) I don't want to really continue the comparisons, but I feel it's warranted here. IPL is in a TEST run season, they already explained in their FAQ: + Show Spoiler +What are the details about IPL Season 2? The basic rundown is that it will be a 2 month long, 32 player tournament, with the 4 automatic qualifiers from IPL Season 1 plus we plan to do a massive qualifier tournament for the other 28 spots. That's right; the other 28 spots will be filled through a semi-open qualifier. I say semi-open because there will be restrictions on who can compete in terms of geographical location and skill level. We want to, and plan to, include as many areas of the world and skill levels as we can but we cannot promise anything outside of North America right now. We will release more details on how you can qualify as IPL Season 1 progresses.
So I don't think you can say IPL needs to "learn" from NASL since all NASL has right now are higher caliber players (which by the way have had sporadic bouts of lag from EU and especially KR server, so that dampens the quality there anyways.
I genuinely feel that if NA has to have a face for SC2 esports, IPL fits that bill more at the moment.

i just wanted to say i disagree. i would gladly take TB excitement lvl over other caster like gretorp. and while yes, TB's knowledge of the game and mechanic or other sc2 facts is rather lacking. you can clearly see an improvement since the time he started casting casual on his youtube channel to now where he is getting involved in tournaments.
it is my personal opinion that casters should be paired off with ppl like TB/Husky who bring excitement to the games and other like Day9/chill who are solid on their sc2 knowledge/mechanics

My post was filled with examples for TotalBiscuit to work on. Are you seriously saying I was bashing him randomly without any content to back it up? Sorry but I do actually think about what I'm about to say unlike someee peopleee who speak so fast they dont have the time to construct a train of thought that actually LEADS somewhere. Pro casters can transition deeper into more interesting ideas while still being entertaining just like the pro gamers transition into their builds. No one wants to watch cruncher do all in's every game just like no one wants to watch cruncher sit back and never leave his base. Lol I know I'm hating a little on cruncher but he just came to mind. Who says we should only have one or the other? WE DESERVE BOTH! My prime example: Day9. I know he gets brought up as the savior of casts but its true. And a Pro caster needs to be able to work with someone else. I think we can all agree Tastosis is the most successful of any casting team or solo caster. I wouldnt wanna watch Day9 cast every match of SC2 ever as much as I enjoy his commentary. But throw in DJwheat next to him or Chill or even Husky. Husky is a good example of someone who can keep you enthralled in the action and still drop knowledge on you. Also he casts very well as a team and always keeps his partner apart of the conversation. I haven't seen TB cast as a team but I can only imagine how hard it must be for someone else to cast alongside that tornado of words coming out.
BTW how long does it take you to read 2.5 paragraphs man? Took me a couple minutes, if that. Sorry if my post wasn't dumbed down enough for ya I know youre a fan, hell youre the chief promoter, of that sorta thing.

Great graphics, solo casting sucks tho.
Justin.tv was lagging all night for me, skipping etc. And no, it's not my internet fault.
