It is pretty obvious that they came out about even with the proxy gates. Naniwa lost 1 gateway and 1 pylon and had to cancel another gateway, but Goody lost a TON of mining time. They came out pretty much even. Goody responded very poorly after seeing Naniwa cancel his Nexus. | ||

There's no point. Goody could literally have won that game by changing any one of 40 small little things. Getting siege+tank instead of superfast port or expanding slower or an earlier second bunker or pulling more SCVs slightly earlier or really anything else. All this is besides the 'get another barracks' option that's not really an option for Goody. | ||

Being greedy. He made good decisions until he decided to keep his bunker at the natural while teching/expanding at the same time with no army. He could have guessed Nani was too much behind and that the only possible way to get back in the game (not counting Goody playing awfully) was a quick 4gate. I'm not saying it's easy to make this assumption, especially if you feel bad because of the shaky earlygame. | ||

That said, it's hard to hate on him for it because it's such a WEIRD SITUATION. How often do you play against proxy 2-gate into fast-expand into 4 warpgate? Many players get into a weird spot when they're playing against something they haven't seen before. | ||
