"greedy" =/= "early hyperaggression." and when the drops did happen they sucked "lol, let me drop on a cannon," "oh i hear marauders are good against probes, i won't kill your buildings don't worry" im not saying playing greedy is bad. it is actually good if you can get away with it which ensnare did and resulted in a 50 supply lead. its just that he went for 3 base mass tier one with extremely late medievacs and didnt attack at all and was just asking to get killed off by colossi. its like artosis said ensnare didnt impress at all since the beta. oh man i misread your first post. yeah you're right, the 3rd base was greedy (and smart), and should've paid off, but he wasted it on the worst unit comp you can get on this map against collosi.

i know teamliquid hate that , but seriously they deserve it so much .
when each time people can only find to say : dont let them get the army ! attack them before !
for exemple in incontrol game he got force field , that not like Ensnare can run up the ramp and win before .
they are something realy wrong with the game when 200 protoss army alway win every fight .
im only high master terran and not that good at sc2 curently , but i dont need to be a pro gamer for know they are something wrong with the deathball protoss army .
Are you actually saying that terran should be able to a-move a huge bioball with very little air support and no mech into a small choke before 3/3 finishes and kill an army with a large colossus count? Really?
Terrans used to be able to do that in the early months of the game. Then Protoss figured out how to defend against it and now Terrans are too busy QQing to branch out and find a strat that will work (i.e. not QQing and actually think).

Had fun listening to the stream tonight for the most part, wasn't expecting Incontrol to take out Ensnare.
My biggest issue with trying to use watching the NASL as leisure is the gross difference between gretorp's lowest and highest volume, seems like there needs to be some sort of compressor or something to equalize his audio and still drive home whatever intensity he has to project on engagements. It's a bit better than the first day; he seems to be somewhat getting used to his role as a commentator. Diggity was soothing to listen to when I could, though I spent some time on vent with some friends drinking and muting the stream some of the time.
Too bad about the WR v July match. Looking forward to the awesome matches on Thursday and Saturday~

I love Diggity's rapid fire casting style, it's very unique and very few casters could pull it off.

You are correct, some western teams pay their players salaries such as Liquid, EG, and Fnatic. TSL is the first Korean sc2 team to pay salaries.

It's really easy to sit on the sidelines and comment about what Terran SHOULD make to counter Protoss armies, but it's a lot harder in practice. If you look at the map, it's a very hard map to drop on against a turtling player, since ground travel distances to drop spots are so short. Mix in the very long distances base-to-base and mech becomes less appealing (not that it's even very appealing to begin with). Then you add in the small chokes connecting all the bases and bio is also countered quite easily. I'm not even going to entertain a real response to the suggestions about nukes.
There really just isn't a good way for Terran to engage on that map without a boatload of experience on that map with that kind of play. The real annoying part is the lead Ensnare had, but couldn't find a way to capitalize on it, and basically lost because incontrol plays Protoss. If this was a TvT, TvZ, or ZvZ, the game would have been won by Ensnare.

Actually, Terran has the highest dps unit in the game. But what was really missing from his army was vikings and medivacs. pretty sure carriers are the highest. marines are either 2nd or 3rd with zealots close behind i believe.
Per cost, Zerglings are actually the highest. The trick is getting them into a position to start doing damage.

As many people have pointed out, he's loud and overexcited at things that he shouldn't be excited about. He overhypes standard play and overrates average games. His commentary is rarely insightful, too longwinded, not funny, and he occasionally seeks attention for himself rather than focusing on the game. When he casted with Incontrol on day 1 he was constantly being corrected, and rightly so.
I wish I had the option of muting one of the casters and not the other to be perfectly honest.

honestly, switching to mech is not the answer and you have no idea what you're talking about if that's what you think ensnare should have done
he would have no upgrades and no production facilities for them, and also that map is so huge it would be really vulnerable; not to mention phoenixes and voidrays would own anything coming out of a factory
the one thing ensnare could have and should have done is get a better army composition before engaging but he maxed out too fast
he needed way more vikings, a few ghosts although not necessarily crucial, but the vikings would have minimized damage a lot against a phoenix/collossus heavy build
again, that map is still heavily protoss favored in the lategame imo just by the fact that he was able to turtle up so easily
mass medivac drop is not that hard to clean up when you have that many collossus, and incontrol isn't stupid enough to take his entire army for just 2 medivacs

Actually they seem to be using a much older version of Tal'darim, not the ladder edition. I'm not sure why NASL hasn't picked up a more recent version, since that one hasn't been used in Gom leagues for a couple months.
NASL's Crossfire is clearly the modified version with properly sized ramps.
As for Terminus, although their pregame graphics showed an old version, the map they used in the games appeared to be Terminus RE which Gom only recently replaced with Terminus SE.

How he thought he would put on pressure was beyond me as he had no routes for harassment before the 12-15 minute mark (can't recall just how late his starport was). It was decision making and not taking into account for the map.
