Gretorp's commentary improved a lot in a day. At 480, the stream looks pretty good. Watching today was a pleasure.

Really silly play by Ensnare there, he saw at least 3-4 Colossus with his scan's I'm pretty sure he does enough TvP in the OGS house to see what happens with pure bio vs Colossi. Also yeah, it's Tal'darim Altar, with the supply lead Ensnare had he coulda flanked from 2 directions at least to avoid getting FF'd that badly. Or a lot earlier with like ~60 supply from the back and the rest from the front =(

Yeesh, how the hell could I have known? I've never spoiled anything in my life. I don't check match histories, and I think NASL even found a way to hide it. I had no clue man, but ultimately you think what you want.

It's okay, just don't cry wolf again.

HOW DID HE WIN THAT GAME?????

Ensnare's factory was incredibly late, and when he did engage it was anti-timing.

iNc was never very far behind, I have no idea why Gretorp thought that. He had his first collosus out and second almost finished, with range finished, as Ensnare was just starting to build his first Starport. That, combined with the 6 full energy sentries that he kept alive meant iNc was perfectly safe from Ensnare's pure infantry army.

Well played by iNc, but it was hardly an amazing comeback unless you only look at supplies.

Did you see the base timings? Ensnare was ahead by 1-1 in upgrades before incontrol started 1-1, he was 30 food ahead, and a base ahead while dropping two starports.

"Praise be to Tal'Darim Altar for those ramps and chokes otherwise I was toast" is what incontrol just said on stream. Cause it's true. Without forcefield and colossus Protoss might be held accountable for falling behind in games. Such a joke.

Edit: Nothing against incontrol. Played your race perfectly there.

The major engagement Incontrol just finished 2/2 I believe and Ensares 3/3 wasn't finished. No idea why people keep talking about upgrades when they were both 2/2 in the crucial fight.

Ensnare supply blocked himself 3 times in a row, didnt make enough ccs when he was far ahead ( yes he was far ahead, stop playing this game if you think otherwise) got a very late factory and attacked before 3-3 upgrade finished, an overall terrible play for a code S player.

He was lagging yo. I think he would've played a lot better if we had LAN

No, getting nothing but pure bio isn't going to be the next big thing on ladder.

right. terran should be supplementing their bio with beefy dps units right? like colossus? terran have colossus right?

Yeah, because terrans only have tier one mass barracks and when they max out on 60 marines and 30 marauders should be able to win versus an equal supply army with higher tech and equal upgrades.

Attacking with a 60 food lead would be required to hold things accountable. Letting 3/3 actually finish before attacking would also help.

That's similar to not making any siege tanks vs mass banelings. Colossi are meant to hard counter bio, and Inc's phoenix's were perfectly prepared for the small viking numbers.

As Inc said on stream to the Gretorp's comment about the 70 food melting: "That's what 8 untouched colossi will do"

Stop the Q.Q please
SOOOOOooooOOOOooooOOOOoo Many BANELINGS!!

Diggity did well. I enjoy his casting and it's nice to put a face to the name from the GCPL. There are so many games man, I get home from work, NASL starts. NASL ends.. it's time for bed. I'm not sure if I can do this for 9 weeks I'll go insane. lol

Yeah, it should've been a BO loss but Gretorp was going on about how far behind iNc was, after his collosi production had already kicked in. 30 supply of infantry against FF/collusus is nothing.

It was smart play by inc to not attack and just wait and try and get his army maxed out. If he would have moved out at all beforehand, he would have gotten stomped pretty bad.

They need to get diggity into the studio to do more casts! He was really really good - i guess if iNcontrol plays more games, we will see more of diggity haha

Ensnare completely messed up his tech there - he delayed his vikings way to much to go bio only - and allowed iNcontrol to hit the money number of collossus; great game to watch though, very entertaining!

Colossus are pretty good. Gratz to incontrol for winning. Eager to see what tricks Terrans and Zerg figure out to break a turtle toss with easy access to 3 base. This game reminded me of turtle style TvZ in SC1. Maybe Terran in SC2 will have to play like Zerg in SC1 by taking the whole map with Orbitals, mules, and a bunch of unit producing structures. That way they can hurl units and remax instantly with an insane economy and starve out the Protoss.

gretorp is the worst caster I've ever seen, including all the stand-ins that gomtv had during tasteless/artosis' absence.
Proud supporter of replacing Gretorp as a caster for NASL.
