That, combined with the 6 full energy sentries that he kept alive meant iNc was perfectly safe from Ensnare's pure infantry army. Well played by iNc, but it was hardly an amazing comeback unless you only look at supplies.
Did you see the base timings? Ensnare was ahead by 1-1 in upgrades before incontrol started 1-1, he was 30 food ahead, and a base ahead while dropping two starports.
"Praise be to Tal'Darim Altar for those ramps and chokes otherwise I was toast" is what incontrol just said on stream. Cause it's true. Without forcefield and colossus Protoss might be held accountable for falling behind in games. Such a joke.
Edit: Nothing against incontrol. Played your race perfectly there.

Pretty awful games today but Incontrol totally redeemed it.

proceeds to win the game?? O_o Yeah it's called protoss. Right, since TT1 is protoss, he had no problems and handily won against Sjow! Oh wait....
And yesterday's results lmao...
The anti-Protoss qq is ridiculous, whereas the Protosses don't whine whenever they lose to Zergs or Terrans.

No, getting nothing but pure bio isn't going to be the next big thing on ladder. right. terran should be supplementing their bio with beefy dps units right? like colossus? terran have colossus right?
Tanks.

The phoenixes? Baiting infantry, small groups of FFs to delay while he did tech switching? Ensnare was the one doing most of the A-moving with a massive bioball with late ghosts, no thors, and no tanks. Ensnare just got outplayed. Great job incontrol! tanks and thors against chargelots and blink stalkers with starports up and no upgrades for vehicles, and on one of the biggest maps available, good idea

Not if only Tyler wasnt slumping, I would be a very happy camper.

Well at one point he was 50 food behind. I would say thats a sizable lead. Like you said though, had ensnare gotten an earlier startport and been dropping incontrol instead of just massing bio he probably could have overwhelmed him with straight unit trades

At least Incontrol is honest about how good that map is for Protoss, o well zergs and terrans have some good maps for them as well. Ensnare had such a huge lead, so sad to see him go down like that

every single series was really strong? please do not insult us.

instead of going for barracks 5-8 ensnare should have gone for reactored medievacs and start dropping. he got away with a greedy opening and didnt do anything with it.
|
terrible decision by Ensnare that game. He either should have maxed out on a better army or just pressured when he had the huge supply lead. He did neither and engaged right before he even had 3-3 upgrades.

Diggity and iNcontroL were the MVPs of NASL Day 2 <333

Gretorp needs to take it down a notch with the "OMG WHAT GREAT AWESOME GAMES ALL OF THEM WERE TODAY". Other than that, gg.

Good ending to the night. Grats incontrol!

Diggity such a class act, hope he got plenty of new fans after tonight

Heh, we get it, you have a raging Korean bias. Or a raging iNcontroL anti-bias. Doesn't really matter. Nothing against Ensnare, he's a great player, but he got outplayed here. Deal with it.
