Well, Ensnare did need a lot more vikings. But it is kinda retarded that protoss can defend so easily on Taldarim Altar till 200/200.

If you sit until your opponent is at 200/200 as well, the only thing that matters is army composition, and incontrol's was much better

Wow Ensnare... all you had to do was hit the 3rd or something while hes defending his natural........ as for lag no it didn't play a huge role in his loss, but I'm sure he would have bothered trying to micro his reaper if he thought his latency would allow. Still, totally Ensnare's fault for loosing... never replanted his 4th on the minerals, got way over confident.... I am a sad sad panda

Incontrol was behind the entire game, and most people were expecting him to lose, but then he's still alive...he's still alive...and just jumps massively ahead. It was ensnares game to lose, and lose it he did.

Ensnare had the advantage with a a nice early expand, and defending iNcontrol's push, but wasted the advantage by only building bio and teching very slowly. Incontrol was smart to play defensively and force the bio to small chokepoint so Ensnare didn't fully engage and only had 2 dropships at that time to harass with which was ineffective.

gretorp is in love with diggity it's so cute

That, combined with the 6 full energy sentries that he kept alive meant iNc was perfectly safe from Ensnare's pure infantry army. Well played by iNc, but it was hardly an amazing comeback unless you only look at supplies. Did you see the base timings? Ensnare was ahead by 1-1 in upgrades before incontrol started 1-1, he was 30 food ahead, and a base ahead while dropping two starports. "Praise be to Tal'Darim Altar for those ramps and chokes otherwise I was toast" is what incontrol just said on stream. Cause it's true. Without forcefield and colossus Protoss might be held accountable for falling behind in games. Such a joke. As a terran you cannot get a factory that late and expect to win against toss it just wont work, and not getting ghosts until the after the decisive engagement is a smart move either.

I just realized...I haven't gotten any commercials. I don't have adblock and haven't been on the HQ stream. Has anyone watching through TL gotten commercials?

well, great job incontrol.. was hoping to see july vs whitera, but no biggie.

gg and good work, Inc
If you didn't see what happened, ensnare lead his army with his vikings when Inc lead his with his phoenix. The vikings went down quickly, when the MM and Colossus/stalker ball engaged, Inc threw down 7-8 perfectly timed forcefields which actually stopped about 70% of Ensnare's M+M ball from firing. Not even his stalker/sentry ball was in range of the ff'ed off M+M ball so Incontrol came out about 80 supply up.
Thought this would help the people posting "LOLCOLOSSUSIMBA", "my joints hurt", and all that.

proceeds to win the game?? O_o Yeah it's called protoss. Right, since TT1 is protoss, he had no problems and handily won against Sjow! Oh wait.... i didn't watch sjow game but i'm guessing he didn't sit on his hands, pace the map, and let TT1 get to 200/200. i wonder if TT1 still thinks he's better than MKP lawl
Exactly my point. Ensnare didn't do what Sjow did. It has nothing to do with any racial imbalance or crap like that, but instead the difference was in decision making.

Terran has beefy units, like battlecruisers, thors, siege tanks, and they have AoE casters (Raven/Ghost). Ensnare had none of these when the engagement came, he didn't even have more than 2 vikings or medivacs to support the bio army.
Bio is really really BAD in large numbers. It's good in middlish numbers, and pretty decent in smallish numbers. You NEVER want to max on pure bio and then attack in one big ball, just awful play.
Toss can easily defend against ground based bio aggression on Tal'darim altar, this is true, but not against siege tank pushes (go watch TT1 vs. Marinekingprime in the GSL world championships), and also not easily against banshee play.

Ensnare supply blocked himself 3 times in a row, didnt make enough ccs when he was far ahead ( yes he was far ahead, stop playing this game if you think otherwise) got a very late factory and attacked before 3-3 upgrade finished, an overall terrible play for a code S player.

Yeah, it should've been a BO loss but Gretorp was going on about how far behind iNc was, after his collosi production had already kicked in. 30 supply of infantry against FF/collusus is nothing.

Balance aside, there's been plenty of protoss whining about terran infantry pushes since the beta.

Ensare went almost pure Bio. Incontrol went mass Colossus + Phoenix with double upgrades. Ensnare didn't punish Incontrol for going so techy and let Inc macro up an unstoppable army.
Worth throwing this out there.
Going mass bio with 4-5 Vikings, and then attacking Pheonix with the vikings tends to lose to 6-7 Collosi.
Ensnare made a LOT of mistakes. Incontrol capitalized on said mistakes. Has nothing to do with Balance.
That, and Ensnare was 200 before Incontrol was 150, but just sat back doing nothing.

QQing all over TL is simply not constructive in the least bit.

Really enjoyed diggity's casting. Very smooth talker and doesn't try to analyze things to heavily over the player/caster gretorp.
