if kiwikaki wins this, obviously a significant portion of the winning goes right back to the ROOT team of which then gets budgeted to players for support and travel funds etc.
kind sucks that qxc jumped ship right before the sponsorships actually did go through and now kiwikaki could be bringing home the big money if he wins!

Look at the scores. Naniwa has a clear advantage by being up a game.
If they restarted with a new Bo3, then Kiwi could drop a game and then win 2. He doesn't have that luxury with this format.

Kiwi is so boring with his 4gates, if only he played like he does on ladder

Being able to compete with MC vs giving him a run for his money are totally different. MC is a boss.
Ya, that's just laughable. I wouldn't even bet on him making it through code A, and probably not even through the qualifiers.

the whole reason for this bo7 is so they wont have to play 2 series go away bad troll, FEAR MY SPRAY

You're wrong; the extended series rules:
4. If Players are scheduled to play each other for a 2nd time in an Event, their Match will expand to a Best of 7, include the previous Match, and pick up where that Match left off. For example, if Player A beat Player B 2 Games to 0 in Pool Play or a Winners Bracket, the Best of 7 will resume with Game 3 and Player A leading 2 Games to 0. When the Match is resumed, the loser of the Pool Play/Winners Bracket Match must select the Map for the upcoming Game. The winner of a Finals Best of 7 will win the Event

Kiwikaki is very close to Naniwa in terms of skill level. Remember they were BOTH undefeated throughout the tournament until they met each other. Kiwi 2-0'd IdrA, and both 2-0'd SeleCT. Right now the total score is 3-2 in favor of Naniwa. Either one winning is understandable, but going in Naniwa had an aura of invincibility going for him.
But with those two games, Kiwikaki showed that Naniwa is mortal.

Hmm so what does the gateway wall mean?

That's kind of a necessary consequence of featuring SC2 on the most important stream and giving it its own finals stage-they have to cater to all kinds of spectators. It's fun to hear their descriptions, in my opinion. Yeah, people forget that not everyone watching the stream is really familiar with SC2, they're trying to cater to people just getting into the game or watching the stream cause Halo is over as well.

As far as I know Root does not take any winnings for themselves.

FYI I'm only been playing SC2 for a month so the map info has helped me a little

What? No it wouldn't.
The first time they played it was 2-0 Naniwa.
The second time they played it would have been 4-1 Kiwi lol
