Casual players buy the game for single player and make up the bulk of the sales. Single player can already be pirated. The loyal players, who ladder on Blizzard servers, and the loyal fans, who just watch SC but won't use LAN, are being punished. It isn't even likely that a high percentage of the loyal playerbase would even use LAN as an alternative to ladder.

what deathball? two colossus i udnerstand if it was vr colosssus army. you probably dont play enough starcraft to know.

Doesn't make sense since LAN should be no internet required otherwise you can't host it anywhere without internet. A better alternative is a blizzard lan team that brings servers to tournaments so it's LAN but not releasing server/clients publicly.

Not too surprising. It's not like emotions are at an ebb after a DC; were I an IdrA fan I'd be angry too. Still not confident enough in my prognositcating to say that IdrA had a surefire win.

god thats disappointing, idra has this

You can't say he's not in the lead. No. But you can't say the game is won. So rematch. you can easily say the game was won. without stargate units in his army the infestor/roach would melt his stalkers in 8 seconds Idra's army would have been absolutely crushed. Whether he could have won the game after that is a different matter, but his maxed army was vastly inferior to huk's. LOL dude, IdrA had like 12 infestors and broods coming. He was 3 bases ahead of Huk as well. What did Huk have? 2 colossus? Sorry, ill just neural them, chain fungal like 5 times, throw down 30 infested terrans and the battle will be over in 12 seconds. 1) He did NOT have broods coming. He was maxed. In order to get broods, he'd have to lose units, build corruptors, and make them into broods. The first engagement would not involve broodlords. Stop making stuff up.
2) Roach infestor does not beat stalker sentry immortal.

Fighter, your ignorance is amazing. This is a tournament for money... Huk was re-expanding to his MAIN BASE that has NO MINERALS(Very few). Idra was making spine crawlers and increasing his army size while getting more defense.
5 base vs 2 and incredible upgrades. Huk has 0 air units.. I mean really do I need to keep breaking this down? It's possible Huk might of pulled off a very gosu win/moves but there was at least 80% chance Idra won and you want to take it away from him.
I honestly don't get it

I would settle for just being able to save the gamestate on a crash. I REEEALLY wanted to see that infester action play out.

That's where huk was that game. okay.
Lol idra maxed on mostly roaches, and huk had blink tech, colo tech, stargate tech.
Cant tell if all these zergs posting are srs.

The worst part about this is the fact that Huk knows not to do that terrible stargate opening.

No reason to not have LAN. Yeah, good people buy good games. Treat your costumers like they pay the bills.

HuK mining from 2 bases.

LOL fail, without LAN it is still pirated, so what's the difference? also, everybody who wanted to pirate it already did.
single player is pirated, they can't play multiplayer which is the big thing
with LAN, multiplayer will also be pirated

well, they didnt care about the rules when huk taunted idra in their last series.
