The matches for NASL will be recorded / commentated live, then edited for production, so if there are any big delays in the games due to network problems, we don't have to sit there and watch while they wait it out. They'll have the broadcasts complete and ready to go before they actually stream them, so unless they have a problem with the streamer, it should be smooth. Last weekend's TSL had like over 50,000 viewers on a single stream with great quality, so that shouldn't be a big issue for NASL.

Some of us sitting by the logistics guys for sc2 were having a deep discussion about the required amount of bandwidth they needed for upload for this event; and i believe the number we came up with was minimum 18mbit up, probably closer to 38mbit up... Dense fibre (the kind they have burried in Dallas) allows for a maximum of 32mbit(i think) up *(and only if you are a FiOS customer- i know this part is right)... Halo and COD games were all setup as LAN. Also- more games were crashing than the main stage... I believe Rigid disconnected at least once, and when VTgix played against tkVim, they dropped twice... Also, on the feature stage, station 1, which I believe at the time was sixjax.mihai vs LG.PainUser they lagged so much that their games seemed to go on forever... I know the qxc v haypro games were just plain long, but i believe it WAS mihai's games that were lagged... Hell, I didn't get to see grubby v dde because the lag was so bad... Apparently they did play- they must have moved when I was outside smoking or flirting with the Dr.Pepper chick...

I think he should get disqualified for that TBH, it was totally off base :/ From the MLG rule book: 3. Players may not chat in-game unless they are engaging in pre-game sportsmanship or surrendering the Game. 6. Breaking any of Gameplay Rules #2-5 will result in a Forfeit of the Game. Technically HuK forfeited the game by taunting IdrA. You might argue that IdrA responded, but the game was already forfeited when he did. I wonder if this will come up tomorrow.

HuK: 15 stalkers 4 colossi 1 immortal 10 sentries (+44 probes on 1 mining base) IdrA: 9 broodlords 60 zerglings 8 corruptors 4 banelings 3 infestors (+60 drones on - I think - two mining bases) IdrA's army had better upgrades. To be honest, the broodlords could have won that fight by themselves. You need like 3 or 4 stalkers per broodlord - at least - to fight them effectively.

The amount of upload MLG Dallas uses is ridiculous... 4 streams going (COD, Halo, SC2, and the pro stream that has a little of everything), plus all the SC2 games, plus the alienware station that has 4 desktops and 6 laptops all with only sc2 and ie on them... I am not saying "fuck off" is an appropriate response (though it is entertaining) but HuK was out of line... not that I personally care though. As someone else mentioned earlier... it would have been hilarious if right when he did that, IdrA paused the game and made sure they disqualified HuK. ![]() I dont think huk was trying to piss idra off. The entire situation leading to the win was so bizarre, I bet huk was initially confused when he won g2, followed by the same amusement TL had to g2 which led him to point it out in g3.

Kiwi and SeleCT is very interesting. Both have gone very well result so far and I like both of them, but I think Kiwi might win this.

I can understand it to an extent, however, i lost respect when he does it in the pool play as well. It's perfectly reasonable. Playing so many Bo3s in one day is extremely exhausting, plus he has to face off against the cream of the crop tomorrow. Both the mental and physical fatigue don't go away after one night of sleep either.

Definitely will not be stream issues unless 500K+ viewers show up :D

As much as its fun to poke Idra, and as funny as the circumstance was, I don't think its fair to IdrA that HuK can get away with doing that. Trashtalk and competition is fine and all but doing something like that during a game before he even gets to think it over definitely gets in your head and shouldn't be allowed. They need to set a precedent with HuK to be honest. As sad as it is, I hope something is done about it.
