What's CT? When is that in CET? Or can I safely assume that the timer on the blog thing is in CT?

Again it sucks, but it really is a fine line of what the hell do you do.... It's sucks for us, it sucks for MLG. But it's not an easy fix either, they are probably on the call with their ISP and trying to get something worked out, but in the end they probably don't have a big enough pipe to their site. I would love to see the utilization charts on their main routers, I bet it's 100%.. For them to pay to have that increased when they only use that site for a weekend isn't worth it....

You can tell this by all the rage about InControl's pylon vs TLO yesterday.. InControl said it best; "The opportunity presented itself, and I took it.".. Dont bash InControl because hes smart. PvP is really about who can outsmart your opponent, and micro the best. Thats why MC almost always wins, and the only time in recent history we've seen him lose is when White-Ra showed him alittle creative warp prism play. People just dont understand MC is not your average "practice 12 hours a day til my builds are smooth" player.. Hes really a strategic genius, and thats what wins him games. He takes the best positions and opportunities giving to him and it makes him look imbalanced because everything always falls into place. Thats why hes the most likely SC2 "Bonjwa" and seems unbeatable while everyone else thinks the game is a rock-paper-scissors game.. I agree. Some people don't give players like MC and July enough credit and criticise them for relying a lot on all in timing attacks, but generally these are clutch decisions where they notice the opponent has given them a small window to attack and they exploit that. This is why so often they win games by crushing opponents fairly early on, they haven't gone into the game planning to attack at that window, but if their opponents build has given them the opportunity and they have exploited it. If the opponent was 1 basing they'd adapt to this and macro up before hitting their opponent with the timing attack. The inControl, TLO situation was similar. I was supporting TLO (gogo European Terrans!), but you could see that inControl only put down the 4gate when he realised that TLO hadn't found the probe he'd hidden in his base, the strategy didn't rely on that though, if TLO had found the probe before the 4 gate was put down then inControl would have probably 3gate expanded.

Blizzcon and Dreamhack i'm not as sure about, i'd have to check but suffice it to say that this is not just an MLG thing. Ok, there was a COUPLE dc's. But we cant watch MLG games for 2 days now ...
