MLG Admins do look retarded now. Flame on! :D

I really hope dde had no problems with regaming, if so, great manners and sportsmanship. Else it would just leave a bitter taste for both players, as well as spectators :/

I think they know more about business than you though. You are inevitably biased, as LAN would be good for you and not bad in any way. It's not that simple for Blizzard. LAN would result in massive Hamachi piracy and lost sales, without a doubt. That said I agree that the lack of some sort of tournament edition is simply a very poor decision. Massive piracy does not equal lost sales. There's no logic to support that line of thinking. Any increase in piracy of SC2 at this point, because of LAN, is irrelevant. People doing that were never going to buy the game anyway. It's that simple.

yup terrible decision, gonna be a clear advantage for grubby in the re game

not bullshit at all. Regame was absolutely the right decision
i quit playing sc2 because I lagged like was seen on the stream in every game. It's a severe handicap

dde agreed to it.

Did dde actually have to agree for them to do a regame? That's good - they should definitely regame, I think, but it's good sportsmanship for him to agree to it since he won. [Apparently he did - that's good to see :-) ]
|
Wow this is so ridiculous, they let dde win and THEN they decide regame? WTF kind of decision making is this. He obviously won it regardless of pause or not
|
did dde suggest the regame or refs? either way good decision.
|
nice stream quality, can almost make out what units are used.
|
i don't get the point of doing a rematch NOW, if the spikes are still there

We're getting to enjoy a big event in a game we all like--yes, there are problems, but making blanket statements like "OMG IM NEVER GUNNA BUY EXPANSIONS" or "OMG BLIZZ IS SO GREEDY MONEY IS ALL THE WANT" or "OMG MLG SUX" is just obnoxious. So let's just watch the stream . EDIT: Grubby! There's been more or less no games to watch since it started about two hours ago. Christ, what did you expect?

I would disagree. granted they made the wrong choice in the first place, but showing they are not too proud to admit when they messed up and changing their decision at the risk of losing face, I think shows a certain amount of respect to the players and community.

No. How players advance from Open Bracket to Pool Play was already predetermined based on their seedings in the Open Brack.et
