I especially like the "asdifj asdofj aosdfj oiajdf" part because pretty much sums up how I feel now. -_-

What does momentarily mean?

For you guys with problems: Use Google Chrome.

It wouldn't be a North American Starcraft II event without delays and voices over the overlay.

This is starting to get ridiculous

During the downtime, we spoke to the popular streamer ROOT.Destiny, who said he is excited and nervous about his first big LAN, and is confident that his level of play has improved a great deal since joining ROOT.

bigger issue with NASL is whether their production quality and professionalism is sufficient enough for a 3 month long, 100K prize league
To be honest, "production quality" shouldn't be on the high end of the continuum. Having the actual games be played, fairly, to determine a winner will be. People who worry whether or not inControl has a world-class microphone or if the overlays are super fancy absolutely boggle my mind. MLG is still new with SC2 and it'll take them a bit to get the kinks worked out with how many servers they need. If you think about it, TSL was watched by upwards of 45,000 people. Justin TV is designed to handle that many people. Was MLG this year? Maybe, maybe not. Stop being concerned with "production value." Stop being concerned with "professionalism." And start being concerned with: "Hey, I hope we see some awesome games from these pros." Because that is what it's really about. No. People get to care about what they want to care about, and that's totally fair. HD, for example, is a "production value" thing and it matters to a lot of people. It's why people will pay for HQ passes. So stop trivializing what people care about, thanks. That's not to say that they don't care about awesome games, because they obviously do. But their expectations should not be lowered for a product just because you say so. If MLG is smart, they will be paying attention to what the viewers are looking for. This. Consumers being critical of the production of these events in a way that is constructive is precisely what is needed to bring the entire product to the next level. It is up to the professionals in charge of running the events to take a step back after each, gather feedback internally and externally, and assess the product. If we just wanted to watch good games, wouldn't it be just as attractive an option to download and watch replays by ourselves on our own time rather than watching a streamed live event? If the actual game was all that mattered then this might be the case, but clearly it is not. The community wants productions with cool storylines, drama, awesome casters, slick production AND great games. Will it take time to get there? Of course it will, but if there are bumps along the road then people shouldn't be discouraged as long as there is a clear vision for the future. In the meantime, if the quality of the product doesn't meet realistic expectations, consumers will be justified in criticizing the end product. This is true in any market.
MLG is hiring for someone right now to do this research for them at their office in NY. Both of you should apply.

I still haven't seen any video. It's sad that ustream and justin.tv can put on a more reliable and accessible show than mlg.

Uhm, so, it actually hasn't even started yet? I was out drinking, thinking I've missed half the show. But it's actually not started yet?
