Dokdo has been, for the longest time, a Korean territory and has been occupied by Korea since its Independence from Japanese rule after WW2. The only reason why Japan wants that "shitty rock island," is to expand their sea-territory to tap into more natural resources. Japan has been using sly tactics such as secretly going to international organizations and claiming that the territory is theirs, that they should recognize it as Japanese territory, and that Korean took it by force (which is laughable, since only a couple decades ago they raped Korea upside down by invading and occupying its lands). This has only been recently recognized by Korea and they have been trying to correct this, but due to Japan's huge political and economical influence over the world they have been rather unsuccessful. MKP is not "kicking Japan" while they're down due to the earthquake. The only reason why Dokdo debate came up in midst of the "help Japan" movement in Korea was b/c yesterday or the day before the Japanese government selected a textbook containing fabricated information about how Japan has ownership of Dokdo to be their official history textbook. So please, get your facts straight first before you start criticizing someone. On a more OP note, great games. Enjoyed them thoroughly. | ||

The ceremony was done after the games in English to tell the INTERNATIONAL fans about the Japanese history alterations. The fact that he did it after Sen's game has nothing to do with Sen, it was just the timing of the occasion. Poor taste, imo, but I just want to clear things up. | ||

yup Think of this hypothetical scenario: Japan suddenly revises history to say Pearl Harbor bombing was a fiction created by Americans. Then IdrA (cant think of other American players) holds a sign saying "pearl harbor bombing is fact" would be perfectly understandable. Recall the controversy took place when the prime minister of Japan patronized a shrine honoring WWII war criminals. | ||
