The only thing I dont quite understand is why Idra didn't go mass muta. I know its more complicated then this, but Corruptors just DONT counter void rays. At all. Once Cruncher got like 13 or so Voids, Idra simply wasn't going to win with Hydra/Roach/Corruptor. Dunno if that's balanced or not, but its certainly how the game works at the moment.

I wouldnt say unbeatable. Sen has beat it several times already. I guess FG would help there, but I may be wrong.

Idra never got infestors, never dropped, never got a nydus worm up, got out updraded and let Cruncher do whatever he wanted to do on 3 bases, he deserved the loss.

I dunno... this strategy zergs are doing lately pushing up to 75-80 drones just isn't working.

If you're doing that you cant let toss max out.. because it ends up being a 140 army vs a 120 zerg army and gets owned. Even if you can re-max quick, toss will just roll over it again.

mass ling/hydra with infesters to mind control cols also wrecks that army. So does knocking down rocks and base trading at 6. Point is, there are lots of options Idra had there given his vastly superior income.

Not sure how to beat that, I mean obviously you shouldn't let the toss get to that point. But brood lords would just get raped by the voids yeah? I'm merely asking because it's rare I get to the point when I spawn Z v P. But I have NEVER won if the toss gets to that point. I just feel that army is SO cost effective. I mean, Idra had the WHOLE map dominated but he lost handily, and yet got pretty much rolled when cruncher pushed out.

Very good unit comp from cruncher... seems incredibly hard to stop as zerg.
