Without playing thousands of games on KR ladder. Mondragon's play was very fragile. If his drop/push failed to do much damage, he would have hardly any Drones for his economy, and ZeeRax could have taken a third and macro'd up to a Protoss deathball.Plus, ZeeRax didn't have very good unit control that game. IdrA did the same sort of strat on Game 2, devastated, and had tons more Drones than Mondragon. Oh well, still glad a Zerg won.
Also ZeeRax's build was so much more risky than typical protoss play. Cruncher's play was a lot harder to crack than ZeeRax's.

NADA HWAITING!! TLO HWAITING!!! Wow so hard to decide who I want to win here.

Nada will win and render all those lag complaints totally baseless.

Nice to see an ultra aggressive Zerg player willing to trade units in order to grind Protoss down. Not sure how well it would against a heavy forcefield user such as MC.
Hopefully Mondi will make a full transition to SC2 he could be a force in the future as he dosnt seem to follow convention thinking and trys to stretch his opponent out

It wasn't BM, just issues with his english. He wished Mondi gl, he was just commenting on how in his interview, he made it sound like he wasn't playing (which is what Mondi always does before tournaments.) and what, you are supposed to not practice in return? it's no excuse, in that regard it's BM to not prepare for your opponent. But he lost, and he lost horribly, I hope he takes it as a lesson. exactly. he didnt use it as one

He was floating mins because he was losing infrastructure to make stuff...

Which is awesome, since he played Nada in a TvT many months ago in a showmatch at IEM Cologne.
It was an epic series. Nada macroed SO MANY TANKS against streams of TLO's MMM. It was literally old-school BW vs new-school SC2 styles. Heck, Nada hadn't officially switched over to SC2 yet, and some KeSPA shenanigans denied us a true third game in that series.
I am VERY excited.

I have no idea who to root for here.
Somebody tell me what to think!

Then again had zeerax gotten something else than colossus who knows. GG mondragon either way! Making only collosus and Void rays without any stalkers or micro is no kind of style. We still haven"t seen Mondragons true Potential yet in SC2 , his game against cruncher is crucial. Actually it is standard PvZ in Europe and Korea, without the All-Ins.
And yes, it is bad standard.
(I searched long for strategies in PvZ, to get good ones, did'nt found really good though)

At the same time, if Zeerax went heavy gateway units+immortals instead mass roach really wouldn't have worked.

So many minerals unspent and the like...lots of queued up...yeah. This. I feel it was more Zeerax making critical mistakes than Mondragon really showing a unique strategy. I dont think he practiced that stargate into early expand style enough, he def looked like he didnt know what to do with his money. There is such a thing as a forced mistake.

Lets go TLO im excited to see some more terran play out of him.

So I have a question... TLO was scheduled to play Random? Now he's chosen Terran to play against Nada. Don't the players have an obligation to stick with a race throughout a tourney? Like.. If he changes to Random now or lets say Zerg for example in another match. Is that allowed?
This is of course assuming he picked to play Random to begin with, as was announced when the TSL line up was released.
