Artosis qualified for the GSL and is widely considered at least at Code A calibre. He is as deserving as at least half (if not more) of the invites so far.

But obviously you don't know him from anything other than his casting the GSL. He was one of the top top US BW players, and is a great SC2 player as well. Granted, I'm not sure how is Protoss is since his switch but you shouldn't underestimate the guy just because hes more famous for casting now than as a player.

Love the last 5 invites. Division 4 is starting to look very powerful as well with two strong protoss and two of the best terran vs protoss players in brat and select.

Good to see Artosis in, the game is his life, not many people would claim to have a greater passion for SC than him, so i'd assume he will practice his heart out to put in a good showing, so there should be no excuses, let's see how he matches up with the best foreigners!

Hmmmm..... I'm actually kinda pissed that grubby didn't make it into NASL. I see a lot of players who don't deserve to be in there compared to him. Very few people impress me in SC2 and for non koreans he's among the top. In fact, he's better than both the korean players in the tourney. Never thought I'd see the day where I was actually angry that a WC3 player was wronged... Sad day!

Artosis definitely deserves to be in this, no doubt. First off you need to look at the skill level, and it's obvious that he isn't bringing it down. He qualified for GSL ffs, and all you have to do is look at his BW career and you know that if he practices = one of the best. And then you have to factor in how big of a name he is, he definitely brings a lot of excitement. He's probably seen more SC2 than anybody else and cares about it more than anybody else, why wouldn't you want him in it? Finally, the chance of Artosis in the league and Day9 going back to being a pro gamer this summer and joining the NASL would be absolutely ridiculous. It needs to happen lol.

Wow. Now Artosis is going to be denying High Fives in NASL? This is just too much, it's going to spread, 2012 world ends when Artosis denies enough high 5s! Jokes aside, I'm glad he's in, from what I've heard at GSL lately he's really been playing more and with GOM recruiting more casters he is going to have more time to play

They have to choose players who are good but also draw crowds. If it was only the very best in the world this list would be looking a lot different and have a lot more Koreans. I'm glad they're doing it this way. I want to watch names I know and have an attachment to the community in some way... personalities.
