Players such as Jinro, HuK, and Adelscott did not apply for this tour, so don't ask why they aren't on this list. DIMAGA, Kas, and LaLush turned applications in late so they will not appear either. Please take some time to learn who exactly applied. Please inform yourself about who applied and who didn't. |

So excited to see Sen already on the list, mainly because I didn't see an application video from him!

Aww I hope Artosis makes it in. He deserves a chance to get back into playing and not having to commentate all the time!

There are 50 spots. For every invitee with a 100+ ELO ranking, they invite one less person with a 50- ELO ranking. Perhaps not white-ra, but someone else with very high skill is going to be left out, with mathematical certainty.

I agree. However, ELO isn't everything. I think Cruncher and Darkforce are far more questionable than catz, despite what ELO would indicate.

hope he doesnt.
it would be better for him to be known as the kick ass awesome caster instead of the player who tried to win something but didnt.

I think Darkforce is better than Catz and I've seen both quite a lot.
Catz is more entertaining though.

At least I hope so. Honestly I don't think Artosis deserves a spot. I'd watch him do anything in the world but I don't think he's skilled enough atm to compete with the best in the world. If he gets accepted then it will confirm my suspicion that NASL is picking people that are fan favorites/interesting people over people with the most skill. Show nested quote +but still many people act like everybody in code S is lightyears ahead of every foreigner, yet 3 out of 4 code S players lost in ro32 so far. The gap is not nearly as bad as some in here make it. Somewhere in between 8 to 12 koreans is totally fine. It serves the purpose of having a decent amount of foreigner/korean matches, whilst still keeping it a foreign league Fruitdealer: Yes he played bad and Thorzain deserves the win. Huk: I think we all understand Huk's PvP isn't exactly the best and he barely managed to get into code S as it is. Jinro: Got baneling busted all 3 games and the one time it didn't work Jinro won. Not to take away from Morrow's skill but cmon. you might as well take idra as an example. He's been back in the US for a week or so and already lost to Drewbie, Minigun, Moman, Naniwa and Kiwikaki. I'm not suggesting foreigners are better or anything. But they are not as bad as the ppl suggesting nasl should be 80% korean make them. The complaints about nasl are getting soo ridiculous.
We should be thankful to Xeris and the others for making such a big league possible, but instead many people seem to be shitting on every single decision they make. If players get invited who do not deserve the invite, they will drop out of the league within one season. I dont know why you should be upset if some players, which you think are undeserving are invited to the league.
If they are not good enough they will eventually drop out and better players will take their place. Assuming their is no restriction on koreans in the open spot qualifier the top 8 of that tournament, which will qualify for the next season, which could obviously very well consist out of some koreans. So even if they just invite only 8 koreans or so there will most likely be more of them next season.

You never know he could come back and surprise us all. I for one would love to see a few old players come back. Artosis and Day9 coming back would be the bees knees.

NASL can do what they want, there will never be all people content, and some will always cry. In the end NASL has to invite the players that they think will be best for their tounament. Its their money on the line there, not ours. And if they invite someone that is indeed too weak he will be out after the first season.

I agree that people complaining about "missing" players is ridiculous considering all the names haven't been released.
but… you might want to consider trying to present a calm front in the face of criticism that you will received. It's tough, but there will be tons of criticism regardless of what happens or how well the NASL does.

Is this their official policy? Or just your observation?
