Players such as Jinro, HuK, and Adelscott did not apply for this tour, so don't ask why they aren't on this list. DIMAGA, Kas, and LaLush turned applications in late so they will not appear either. Please take some time to learn who exactly applied.

Please inform yourself about who applied and who didn't.

so every person who was complaining about not seeing morrow/july/boxer/mc or nada in the previous 144 pages wasted their time along with everyone elses. Amazing last 5 picks, community needs to have a little more faith :D

This is why you wait till the 50-man lineup before critisizing.

I wouldn't say that. First of all, a lot of attention was generated towards to the league. Secondly, people were led to believe certain things, so it's not like everything in the thread is magically unjustified.

Oh you beautiful bastards you pulled it off. Thank you, thank you so very much. As I scrolled down the list today my eyebrow raised at Nada and July. I fist pumped when I saw oGsMC and I almost cried for joy when I saw Boxer there.

Thank you NASL. This will truly be a defining moment in e-sports history.

A lack of Jinro makes me seriously sadpanda but apart from that great list!

EDIT: I'm aware he didn't apply, etc. But still a sad thing.

WoW, ill be honest i was gettin a bit skeptical, but thankfully the playerslist turned out to be great. They saved the spicy stuff till last, my favorite korean players, combined with 2 dutch players as well as morrow and whitera!! On top of that Artosis as a bonus!

Personally there are enough interesting players for me now here, so thank you NASL, I'll order the premium service to support this.

ps. sad to see adelscott wasnt there, but i know he did not apply so i knew he wouldnt. He still is one of my favorite protoss players

Good invites, but I still bothered by the lack of real qualifiers in such a big new league. (And it's not like that NASL can't make it because of the work - they are hosting a 1000 players qualifier for the 16th spot after all).

Only 5 players without any "medal" in foreign events (Lazy check in tlpd):
(Z)ViBE, (P)Artosis, (P)iNcontroL, (Z)July and (T)Ensnare.

edit: bah, got directed to the korean profiles in some so I'm wrong and missed some events (thx HowSoOnIsNow for Zenio fix). Total botch, edited some now... still not correct?

Fairly obvious that they still kept the "No more than 5 per team" rule still applied, only as unspoken, to appease the masses, seeing how Minigun and Strifecro were passed over for some other, much less accomplished players. Minigun can probably thank QXC for not getting a spot, since he jumped ship from Root after the application/acceptance process.

But more importantly, the last day's picked were a perfect ending to the process. Can't wait for the games!

I was quite pessimistic about the whole NaSL thing, but I'm glad that the original set ups were changed. Nice bracket of players. Here is to hope that the lag doesn't stir some Tsl controversy.I sure will watch this event. Glad to see July and NaDa in. We might get the chance to see them live, and that would be so priceless.

Only weird addition is Ensnare. Not that he's bad or anything, but i feel TOP would have been a better choice. I hope he wasn't chosen just because he had beef with IdrA....o_o''

Real mens play Zerg.. Startale fighting.

just a little bit on insight for those who are wondering about group placement. NASL wanted the group to be split up so that no 2 team mates were playing in the same group. So it may be the reason why some groups are more stacked than others, people like kiwikaki, drewbie, catz (and maybe qxc sinc ethey may have made the groups when he was in root) all needed to be split up. Same goes for idra axslav machine and incontrol, and fenix, KR, TT1, SEn. (there are also a couple more teams with multiple members participating). After all these teams are separated into each division, it may have been harder to completely balance the scales from division to division. I think at the end of the day they look decent, and I think it was a good idea to not have team mates competing against each other.

They make for sort of weird games, since they know each other so well, playstyle-wise and mentally.

I realize this, but it would have still been quite trivial to make the groups more balanced. They could have, for instance, switched Idra with Machine and Rainbow+Moon with July+Ensnare. It seems to me they made that they wanted, for instance, that Idra and Zenio, and Grubby and Moon to be in the same division for more "drama/excitement". I could obviously very well be wrong.

I can't Believe ROOTMinigun and EG.LzGamer didn't make the list, by far the 2 biggest Snubs of the people to applied.

This I agree with. Suffice it to say I'll only be watching the ROOT players games along with a few of the Korean players.

Are people really questioning Ensnare?

GSL 1
Ro4 losing to Rainbow

GSL 2
Ro16 losing to Kyrix

GSL 3
Did not qualify?? Knocked out by someone in the prelims?

January Code S
Lost 1-2 in Jinro/Idra's bracket...

March Code S
Lost in Ro16 to Lyn

Pretty consistent playing...

I have been critical of the early selections. However, I have to say I am so pumped for this tournament.

Just like anything else, some people are going to be upset, but this is a great collection of the most skilled/deserving players.

I am sad not to see Dimaga (probably his fault), DeMuslim (maybe he won't be healthy before games start?) and Thorzain,NightEnd, Sase as they are better then some invited players. But frankly if I am missing only 3-5 players in a selection that is based on subjective criteria then the organizers did a pretty good job I would say.
