Players such as Jinro, HuK, and Adelscott did not apply for this tour, so don't ask why they aren't on this list. DIMAGA, Kas, and LaLush turned applications in late so they will not appear either. Please take some time to learn who exactly applied.

Please inform yourself about who applied and who didn't.

Watching GOM WC just shows what NASL is missing with these few and garbage korean invites. That LR thread is out of control, and thats just one great series of games. Easily the most entertaining sc2 ive ever watched, and I think NASL has hamstrung their chances of topping it, unfortunately.

This is ridiculous, a team event is of a completely different nature than an individual league and especially in international competition where there are teams involved defined by geographic boundaries so there is no basis for comparison. Another reason for why these games were so popular is also that they were played lag free. The insanely good matches in the TSL between foreigners and koreans resulted in so much whining from people about how much it affected the games which tainted those games beyond repair.

Everything is self-evident

... Sheth DDE Stalife and Catz all deserve their spots in the NASL, Incontrol is overrated, and I have no idea who Vibe is so not gonna say anything about him, And Artosis, He hasn't played alot because he has spent so much time casting, but if anything he's a wildcard, could be amazing, could be awful, but he will bring in alot of viewers.

Pleasantly surprised with the addition of the final Koreans. I thought we'd get only those fairly well-known but 'average' ones. All in all, can't complain anymore.. too much. ; )

I dare anyone to take a look at any of these groups in their entirety and tell me it's is not a good lineup. Tell me it's not a lineup that easily rivals the best of the foreign tournaments.

Just try it and I'll laugh in your face. :p

I hope Dimaga qualifies by winning the open tournament.

It will certainly be easier than beating July Zerg and MVP.

5 more great picks. Can we start already?!?!! great job NASL I think people forget that the league is meant to be long term and the players that can't cut it will drop out and the players that deserve to be there will make it in. I mean christ look at GSL S1, 2 and 3. GSL had 3 preliminary seasons to set its 32 person S league and many would argue that it still is not comprised of the best 32 players in Korea. NASL made an effort to hand pick players and I really think they did a good job. Many of these players that people are trolling over will be given a serious chance to compete in a real league. It will push players to make a full time commitment to playing starcraft. If they don't they surely won't stay in the league. Rome wasn't built in a day and the NASL won't become the NFL in one season. Give it some time haters its a giant leap for western e-sports (as well as the other league announcements :D).

The best solution would be if they had a small qualifier for the people that sent the application late/didn't get picked and a few that are "controversial" for a few spots in the NASL. Yes picking players they already selected could be said to be unprofessional but i think this is they best and fair solution and im sure that the players who got in would love to prove that they deserve their spot in the NASL.

tl dr: A small (double elim?) tournament where say the first 3 places get a spot in the NASL.

Or you know. People could just send their applications on time and follow the rules of the league.

Yay Nada/MC/Boxer/July are in it, well deserved spots and overall there is a good amount of Koreans in it imo. While I think there are some good NA/EU who deserve to get in more than some of the ones in it now, I am happy with the overall picks. People have to remember that this is the first season and there will be lots of improvements in future seasons. Players who didn't get in this one have a chance in the open tournament to get a spot for this season and for next seasons qualifiers. With this format the players who deserve to be in will get in and the players who don't will be eliminated.
