Players such as Jinro, HuK, and Adelscott did not apply for this tour, so don't ask why they aren't on this list. DIMAGA, Kas, and LaLush turned applications in late so they will not appear either. Please take some time to learn who exactly applied.

Please inform yourself about who applied and who didn't.

Cause Ace dropping games to no one but moon in the IEM makes him bad.

It's funny how much people complain about something they aren't actually involved in other than as spectators and fans. On the other hand, there's nothing at all surprising about it. GSTL and TSL have proven that relative unknowns can provide very entertaining games. Who among GSL watches doesn't know the name MMA now? Or even Ryung for that matter.

you should always pick unknowns because they always give good play is the most illogical and plain stupid argument you can run with. they're unknown for a reason, but yes there is a chance that this will be their big break, but we doubt it. why? because they are unknown.

that being said, putting them down because what they have won is only a "$100" tourney isnt really any better, you have to look at who they beat to the prize money, then comment. then again some people are clearly getting in due to having friends in the right places, but this was obviously going to happen from the start when the people running it are community figures.

who else kinda glad when that mlg guy came on sotg and said "i play the mariners". maybe detachment when being in the business side is for the best.

Haha I think that guy is messing with us. I checked the NASL website to make sure zenio and day9 weren't in this. I dunno why people are complaining about the korean invites. ST_Ace is an amazing player.

I think most of the complaints are at the fact that there aren't many Koreans at all and we want to see more.
You can think I'm wrong, but that's no reason to quit thinking.

I can't beleive you dunno who catz is. He's the Leader or ROOT and he's very entertaining, has a huge following.

tbh I'm with Elefanto on this one.

You can't fault ppl for not knowing who these players are. Most of us who started following the e-sports scene when SC2 came out are not blessed with knowledge of every player in the scene. Neither are we impressed by players who won so and so tournament with a prize money of $100 or players who are "creative and entertaining" but have not been casted often by our favourite casters.

Holy crap I sincerely hope you can be more receptive to the opinions of others.

if you don't have knowledge of the sc2 scene why would you post saying youve never heard of these guys as if you can pick better players than those at nasl.tv and as if you know which players could not even make it because they cannot adhere to the nasl rules

these names are sc2 names i dont know if catz was a big sc1 name was he

yes people are impressed with people who win multiple $100 tournaments and yes people are impressed with creative players i don't know who you're trying to speak for

I speak for ppl who don't have the time to follow hundreds of SC2 players. I speak for those who have a one or 2 hours every day to catch up on results of the major tournaments or what their favourite player(s) is doing or to watch a game or two casted by their fav casters. I speak for the casuals.

Fair enough. It's just that I find it unfortunate (for myself and those who think the same) that people I know and support are not in a league that claims to have the best of the best. Thus i question the fairness of the invite process and the thought process for the invites.

For the record, I am happy for those who know and support the players that i do not know of who have been invited to the league.

I'm guessing that the list will fill out with more Koreans. I mean, they'd be stupid to turn down big names like Boxer or MC or Nada. Most people WANT to see foreigners go up against this guys on a regular basis.

I hope in the futurre they have a mix of qualification tournaments and invites to fill out the bottom 16 (or is it 8?) that risk losing a spot each season.

I think what TSL proves is that a mix of intense qualifiers and simply inviting people you know are good can make for a really, really competitive tournament.

if you don't have knowledge of the sc2 scene why would you post saying youve never heard of these guys as if you can pick better players than those at nasl.tv and as if you know which players could not even make it because they cannot adhere to the nasl rules

these names are sc2 names i dont know if catz was a big sc1 name was he

yes people are impressed with people who win multiple $100 tournaments and yes people are impressed with creative players i don't know who you're trying to speak for

I speak for ppl who don't have the time to follow hundreds of SC2 players. I speak for those who have a one or 2 hours every day to catch up on results of the major tournaments or what their favourite player(s) is doing or to watch a game or two casted by their fav casters. I speak for the casuals.

Who are you speaking for?
You speak for people who only have the time to watch one or two games of their favourite players? Well fuck, you're in luck, due to the league format, NASL has plenty of those every day!

Everyone rejoice!

For every vibe vs artosis, there's a Kiwi vs TLO. For every drewbie vs Painuser, there's a Idra vs Tyler, Socke vs Sen, Select vs Ace, Hasu vs Goody, White-Ra vs Sjow etc. etc. etc. There's top games aplenty. Perfect for someone who doesn't have the time to watch all of the games.

Actually, the only guy who could make a legitimate argument against the player lineup would be the guy who wants to watch all the 275 games. >_>
