Cool! The more smallish regular tournaments the better! I kind of like that this one is an invitational instead of the usual 256 million player open

Yeah, figured the first place inviting someone to the next event has a possibility of additional clan members or just some interesting results nonetheless.

For the players who are knocked out and not in the top 3 for each event, would they be knocked out indefinitely until somebody invites them back in?

This is starting soon! Theres even a LB that I didn't know about. Should be pretty cool, with Destiny and others casting ^_^!
Team LiquidUnderneath it all they were really quite nice. They just got screwed up. Mostly by stuff that wasn't entirely their fault.

Jeeez!
So disapointed at the lack of posts on this event!

ROOTDrewbie cs ROOTCatZ is going to be intense... So many mind games to play, as they know each other better than their parents!

If Sheth was still a member of ROOT, This tourney would look pretty 1 sided!
Looking forward to getting home and seeing ROOTPrincess/Kitty/Britney in action! Haven't seen enough of the young lad, to be honest!

Anyone have the build order for this 5 roach push that Sheth used against Princess/Drewie? Looks like the early aggression that everyone says Zerg is missing.

Then Drewbie misclicks and, as a result, only one of his SCVs was mining for a while.

is it a common rule/understanding that race change in the middle of the match (BO3/BO5, etc) allowed?
just asking, as i am random player, if it's allowed it will benefit me

For most tournaments you're locked to one race(or random) for the duration of the tournament. As Ascend pointed out, he doesn't know if what Sheth did violates the rules or not.

I think you should be able to offrace in tourneys, if you are skilled enough why not however I can see the 4gate or 6pool counter argument, it still takes some micro and macro to pull it off properly.

Why'd he ragequit? Did he lose that badly to Sheth or something?

Anyways. Mad props to Sheth for winning. That was some solid play in the finals and the LOL off-race switch to Toss to avoid ZvT on DQ was very funny.

I think you should be able to offrace in tourneys, if you are skilled enough why not however I can see the 4gate or 6pool counter argument, it still takes some micro and macro to pull it off properly.

I think you should be able but when you offrace, you need to stick to that race during that particular round.

I have to agree with Monx but I am going to stick with my choice to allow the offrace mid match bracket.

Thanks Spazcraft!! Great tourney, unfortunately I only got to see up to the first two games between ROOT.Drewbie and FXOSheth in the final series. I had to laugh at the insta-quit of Britteny vs Sheth when he lifted that Rax, but good series.

Its good to see smaller tourneys with top level players. High quality games, you never dissapoint spazcraft, keep it up. This proves that tourneys don't need to be big, just have the right players.
