Come on TL, time to live report in the live report threads, instead of endless whining. |
this is the first time gom has crashed on me in a very long time.
Although it was unfortunate , do keep in mind that there was a huge earthquake + tsunami that destroyed so many buildings and infrastructures around the area. This includes underground communication cables.
In a way, it is a miracle that they can still provide us with free stream because had this happened in a lot of other parts of the world, a failed stream would be the last thing we care about.

Both do.

Yeah like you stated, I think it's because the action highlights. But I feel korean commentators are way better, they brings me excitment even thought I don't understand a thing, and the fact there weren't any interruptions from any of the caster, like they were able to interchange easily, while keep talking non stop.

Look, I don't know about your experience with prostitutes but GOM provides VODs at extremely high quality quickly, and the VODs always perform. Services have improved MEASURABLY every single season. Time to chill out and understand that eSports is a small, and growing enterprise whose leader at this point is GOM. Chill out, and get out of hardcore capitalism mode for a second. OGN: free VODs, reliable stream GOM: VODs that are as expensive as an MMO, stream that goes down all the time. It's too bad Bliz picked the wrong company to grow ESPORTS. You call $10 expensive? Fuck you GOM. Shit happens. They are constantly improving. So quit whining. There's still a VOD the next day. That's bull. Last season was much much better for me in stream quality/other issues. I've yet to see a steady improvement except between second and third season. Because you yourself knows that the production quality they provide is so easy to prevent a technical difficulty from happening right? Get real.
Wtf? You were the one saying "They are constantly improving." which is complete bull and has nothing to do with production quality or if it's easy. Get real sonny.

To be honest, HuK winning games in Code A and beating Choya to Code S while he's not playing his best says more than enough about how good he actually is.
Hopefully the next Code S tournament will really awaken the beast.

This ^ This argument right here is why we're raging. NO we DON'T pay for the VODs - YOU pay for the VODs, we pay for the fucking HQ stream.
The stupid fine print on their site means nothing, the customer (in this case, us) are paying for the HQ stream provided, I fucking hate that stupid argument. That's like saying people who buy a coke are only buying the contents of the bottle, we can offer no certainty the bottle won't have holes in it.
I pay for the stream, I'm not even raging at GOM - shit happens, I'm a bit pissed. I'm more pissed at the people who tell us what we're paying for. I know what I'm paying for and it's a HQ stream.

The money that you pay is going towards the servers for the stream. I don't think that it's helping much at the moment

That doesn't make any sense.
If you are paying money and they give you something, you're paying for it. How is the "higher quality" stream not being paid for if thats exactly what you get when you pay?

Lol you seriously can't believe that a small and growing internet business has server issues at the time when thousands of nerds starting slamming on the servers?
What?

Most of you complaining do not even pay for the season.
Yeah, it sucks we missed the match. But, it is not the end of the world and it wasn't done on purpose. Chill out already. I paid for the ticket, but the HQ stream didn't work for me. Problem?

If you don't think they have improved tremendously from season 1 you obviously did not watch the stream in season 1.

The last place finisher from each round gets dropped into Code A? So does that mean that NesTea or MKP could drop into Code A if one of them ends up falling behind Leenock in that group, despite the fact that they're two of the winningest and best players in GSL history? Yes. Season to season performance is what counts, and both NesTea and MKP got knocked out in the very first round of the season. NesTea finished 3rd in his group, so he gets two chances (Bo3 vs. Leenock, then Bo3 vs. MKP if he loses to Leenock). MKP finished 4th in his group, so he only gets one chance (Bo3 vs. Loser of Leenock & NesTea). Oh okay. Thanks for clarifying I hope they both make it through to Code S >.> They deserve to be there. Yeah, this is a hard one to root for. I really like Leenock's play, but NesTea and MKP are just so awesome... Gonna root for NesTea to win the first set, and then there'll be awesome games for sure between Leenock & MKP, just hope that works
