Come on TL, time to live report in the live report threads, instead of endless whining. |
It's funny to see that nearly every opinion here is either, A: OMG Did you see the way Huk won with that 4gate? BEST PLAY EVER. He's a genius. or B: Huk is the worst player I've ever seen, and his mother is a hamster.
In actuality, Huk is a hella good player. His gameplay in code A and the up/down matches left a lot to be desired, but maybe they were a case of nerves and he'll step up his play in next season's code S, though I wouldn't be horribly surprised if he doesn't make it out of group play. (Code S demands near perfection and consistency)

Even the matches he wins are often very close 2:1 affairs, he has to play catch-up often. He has no aura of dominance about him that makes you go "he'll crush that player without any trouble", it's always walking a thin line. Congratulations on achieving Code S, I hope he can prove he is deserving.
This is probably the best observation of Huks gameplay. He seems to have poor decision making which gets him behind and the top 3 control was obviously sarcasm on his part - you can see in his games that this statement is far from the truth, hopefully people will stop saying "lol top 3 control."
You can probably attribute this to nerves as he -does- look nervous every single time he's at a tournament. I don't watch his stream because of his persona/attitude so maybe someone that does can at least state whether he's much stronger when it's not at a live event.

Surely these korean casters have a killer healthinsurance , there is no way you can scream that fast that loud every day for hours on end and live trough 5 seasons

I cannot believe this happened. I am speechless about the amount of failure that Gom displayed today.

Note. This ticket guarantees only VOD service of GOMTV.NET. Members who purchase a ticket, are able to watch HQ live service, however, live stream may lag or be cut off due to different circumstances of each viewer.
I can guarantee you that the people working at gom are trying their absolute upmost to bring you the stream. However you have to appreciate that they are running on a budget and there are big spikes in viewers when famous/foreigners are playing. Of course its frustrating because you want to watch and enjoy this great game but please try to channel your desire to watch into a desire to promote and grow GOMTV. Only Goms prosperity will lead to improved service so please continue to support them.

Look, I don't know about your experience with prostitutes but GOM provides VODs at extremely high quality quickly, and the VODs always perform. Services have improved MEASURABLY every single season. Time to chill out and understand that eSports is a small, and growing enterprise whose leader at this point is GOM. Chill out, and get out of hardcore capitalism mode for a second.
OGN: free VODs, reliable stream GOM: VODs that are as expensive as an MMO, stream that goes down all the time.
It's too bad Bliz picked the wrong company to grow ESPORTS.

I am sad about the among of people in this thread call Huk noob. Its PvP for god sake, PvP itself is cheese based, rush based. Stop bashing Huk before you learn something about PvP.

I paid and i'm not complaining. It's fucking cheap, i don't think my $10 or w/e gives me THAT much entitlement.
But mostly i should be in bed.

I'm kind of new/noobish, but I've heard the "top control" thing too. Where does this come from ( who said it and why )? I'm seen his stream a little and he doesn't seem to dominate the zealot + stalker PvP initial fight ( more often coming out behind ). Or does his control only shine in big fights?
Not a hater, just curious, regardless, happy Huk advanced, hopefully he'll get lots of PvZ/Ts next season.

I will rage all day when i pay for shit that doesn't work when i want it to.
I paid for a ticket. I knew it would come back up in 5-10 minutes and it did. I didn't care, there's VODs anyways. Stop whining and cope with it.

Code S 4th place player only gets 1 shot. The reason for this is quite simple and a good one. The 4th player of the code S group only gets one chance to advance, the 3rd player of the code s group and the code a player both get two chances to advance to code S.
This is nice. This way it's meaningful to become 3rd not 4th in code s, even though u don't advance to code S final rounds PLUS we will see more fresh blood in code s, as the code a player has two chances as well.

Waking up at 5AM to have the stream crash on you so you can't see the game that matters most is extremely frustrating.
Now I can't even get to watch the 2nd group.
Can't wait for MLG and NASL. I cannot believe you choose to wake up at 5AM when you can just watch the VODs when you would get up at like 10AM. Paying $10 is too much for you? If I'm going to watch something it is going to be as it is streamed/broadcast for the first time. I don't want to watch something that can be spoiled as I will end up having it spoiled to me. I have to admit this is my biggest concern for NASL. If the results can be spoiled, it will ruin NASL for me. Well if you are only afraid of spoilers I don't see the problem. When you wake up you just go straight to gomtv.net and they will not spoil anything. You can watch the VODs which are much higher quality. I still think you don't want to pay the $10

This is the worst LR thread in existence.
